im glad the pacquiao fight is off because that would have been a disgrace for boxing. since this is going to be oscar's last fight why doesnt he fight a true contender like margarito or cotto cause even if he loses his legacy will not be damaged.
if he wants to make the most money and gain respect he should fight cotto, but if he wants the respect of the boxing fans around the world then he should fight margarito.

i hope he doesnt end up with some bull**** fight against sergio mora or vernon forrest to end his career. i still think he should fight trinidad at a catch weight.

...Cotto, just lost...defeating him proves little in his last fight. Margorito, as Oscar said has unfinished business with Williams.

If you want Oscar to grow some balls he should fight Williams.

who cares if cotto lost, he is still a contender in the welterweight division and that was only his first loss. and when he said margarito has unfinished business with williams is basically saying he has an excuse to duck him.

paul william has no boxing talent. he has no fan base and his fights are boring. there is no reason for oscar to fight him.

Then I guess we don't take eachother seriously. There are a ton of boxing fans who you don't take seriously, as many boxing fans find Williams to be exciting.

Yes, Oscar doesn't want to fight Margo, but so what...???...Margo doesn't want to avenge his loss to Williams...so how can you say DLH is ducking Margo, when he's ducking Williams...doesn't work to well.

What's Margo going to say next..."Oscar you are ducking me, I heard what you said and nevermind that I'm ducking Williams. "

Cotto...goes to the back of the line, and needs a victory to get back into the mix...

If you wanted Oscar to grow balls he would need that for Williams...apparently all he needs to choose the other 2 are knowledge of their fanbase.

If DLH wanted to fight a welter, Williams is the man. He lacks the balls.

The no boxing talent comment, hurts your credibility as a poster. He beat your boy, what does that make Margo...???

You act like one has anything to do with the other. Sorry, they don't. The Williams fight has absolutely NOTHING to do with DLH vs. Margarito.

Maybe you need some perspective....DLH says this is his last fight. And you think Margarito needs to fight Williams BEFORE he can entertain fight w/ DLH in December. One guy is about to retire. And for some reason, you think Williams MUST get Margarito first...:patsch

Williams or Margarito would be fine. Except Margarito is hot right now. Williams is just trying to get his name in the mix. Hence the "I'll fight any name from 147 to 168" comments he's made. Kinda sounds desperate. Margarito toiled in anonymity for a decade making small purses. He now has the chance of a lifetime. Williams might have a win over MArgarito, but he's clearly out of the pitcure at the moment. They will fight again, that's a guarntee.

Forget Cotto. He lost badly, can you not remember this??? Margarito is the man he should face.

Cotto just lost and needs to focus on a come-back rather than a megafight after a serious loss. There are two fighters really worth fighting for DLH and those two are #1 Margarito or #2 Paul Williams. Other than those two he doesn't have anyone worth mentioning.

    ...so he's hot...???

...so what, he's not the man in the division, as DLH said he has unfinished business with Williams.

What that has to do with it is this...You can't call DLH a ducker, when Margo is currently ducking Williams...and Willimas would gladly fight either of them.

DLH hasn't given any indication he wanted to fight the best welters, ever since he found out their was no angle to sell Cotto as the best WW, post Marogrito-Cotto fight.
He pretty much abandoned the whole best WW thing right there.

He can duck everybody and it may be true, but Margo can't say sh*t about it.

Margarito is the logical choice right now. It's kinda embarressing for DLH to be hiding behind little fighters....

What kind of fighter CONSISTENTLY looks at lighter weight for fighter? He wanted Mayweather, Hatton, Malignaggi, Forbes, Pacqiuao...and the only guy his size he;'ll face is Mora, who couldn't punch himself through a paper bag...

DLH is looking like a major chicken **** late in his career...
