It will happen September 2017, and GGG will get $10 million + ppv upside. The first offer was flat and now GBP have improved it by adding some of the ppv money. Even if GGG took the $10 million straightaway it wouldn't make the fight any earlier.

I'm pretty sure a deal will be worked out.

When do you think this deal will be worked out? in my opinion it won't be 2017. Maybe 2018 but then who will want to see that crap, GB are probably gunna target Saunders once they beat him they will sit on that WBO belt with Canelo taking fights at 156 till 2018.

If GGG shows any slippage defending his belts against khytrov and Johnson then that fight will be made. I don't see no Saunders fight for GGG maybe the Jacobs fight but that will be his only big fight till Canelo.

My prediction is that Saunders ducks both GGG and Canelo.

I actually think there's a good chance Canelo-GGG will be done for September 2017, because:

    - I think Canelo is good enough to make it competitive, and he is making the biggest payday since Floyd-Pac. As long as Canelo doesn't get smashed brutally and take huge damage his career will be fine, he can rematch and beat GGG once GGG gets old.
    - If GGG did move up or get beaten, the superfight is gone. I think Derevychenko or Khytrov might beat him in 2018.

No chance I see Canelo taking that fight before 2017 when I think about it coz he's coming off a injury so he will want a couple tune ups. GB have too much to lose, if Canelo gets whooped by an globally unknown Kazakhstani he will be ruined to the casuals. Losing to Mayweather is one thing but not sure how he bounces back from a ggg beat down.

GGG smokes khytrov even in 2018, but derevyanchenko looks pretty good. Then you got some monsters at 154 who will wanna get in on the action at some point.

The way Oscar is talking now is that the fight will happen in September of next year as planned. I tend to believe the guy, so we'll see.

I can't believe the words of a coke addict who wears fishnets on his days off, until it's signed I'm taking with a pinch of salt. This guy had the nerve to say b-hop did better than Ward against Kovalev, he's clearly on that stuff again.

Anyway hopefully I'm wrong both you and Kiwi man believe it will happen and your good posters.

Well Oscar was put on blast on national TV the other day by Kellerman and Smith on First Take, so if he doesn't follow through he's going to look like a bigger ass than he did when he said those fishnet pictures were fake and photoshopped!! I thought he was genuine, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

If GGG didn't exist, I wonder where Canelo would be right now in his career? I'd imagine he would have made 2-3 defences of a middleweight title by now....maybe more. He is doing more damage to his career than he would have done by getting beat up by GGG. Hearns was knocked out in 3 by Hagler, I have nothing but respect for the guy for taking the fight and giving it a real go. Boxing really tries your patience at times.

Wow, that's an utterly ridiculous assertion of ODLH's.

If GGG didn't exist Canelo would unified at 160 by now. I don't think he has done the damage to his wallet though if he got koed by GGG when this fight was first talked about he would be ruined as GGG wasn't the GGG he is now.

That tells you what this guy is capable of, he's saying a guy that didn't win a round against someone did better than a guy who won a highly debated fight.
