I have a hard time understanding why so many of you think that Hatton will get destroyed by Manny Pacquiao.
This is a fight Ricky himself wanted, even watching Oscar get beat down by Pacquiao he hasnt changed his mind in taking this fight.
We have reality here to go along with this fight you know.
like I said Oscar was weight drained and not in his prime, so the loss though surprising and though its a good win for Pacquiao its very over rated.
His wins over MAB and Morales are a bit out there as well, then you look at whats left, Solis, Diaz Big deal, Marquez, well out of 24 rounds and four knock downs only a single point seperates them.
Thats pacquiaos recent fights many of them not in their peak form. Whats going to happen the first time he is in there with a guy who has enough in him to fight back? well Saturday will show that.

However your over looking what Hatton has done, yes he did beat a older version semi retired KT, so that win means just as much as Pacs win over Oscar.
However when you look at the other recent fights, Collazo, Very solid fighter who just gave Berto hell, Urango who is a south paw that can bang he won there, Paulie, Hatton scored a TKO over him, something Miguel Cotto couldnt do and even if the fight with Paulie went the distance as it did with Cotto, Hatton was not giving up any rounds and he didnt get hit as much as Cotto did.

the bottom line is Hattons only loss is at the hands of a prime mayweather Jr, other than that he is undefeated, sure Pacquiao hasnt been stopped recently but he has tasted defeat recently against shot fighters, he has struggled against guys his own weight Marquez even with four knock downs those fights were still that close.

This is not to discredit Marquez, nor is it to discredit pacquiao, what I am saying is that over the last few years I think Hatton has fought a hand full of fighters that will prepair him for this moment.

I think the adjustments that sr is making to Hattons game will show in a big way come Saturday, I fully expect to see a Hatton win, Roach has too much going on, Michael Moorer being added, too many distractions in the gym, I dont think they are taking Ricky as serious as they should.

The reason your hearing roach almost daily regarding what Manny is going to do well I think its in the mind of Roach that Hatton is mentally weak, he did show that in his fight with Floyd that he can be taken out of his game.

Truth is if your going to beat Manny Pacquiao you have to rough him up, Hatton will do that, he will get Manny looking to the ref for help, this is going to be an ugly yet exciting first couple of rounds, and when that fourth round comes about and Pacqiuao sees that Hatton isnt going anywhere what then?

I like Hatton in this fight, obviously~ its not a hate thing, I just think that Pacquiao has had too many fights against guys who were either shot, past their better days and weight drained, he wont have that going for him in this fight, and it will be interesting to see how he reacts when Ricky starts to score.

I don't think he's picked against Hopkins or Mosley, who defeated DLH.
