Hubeaux has two losses on his record, one Toni Visic and other to Agit Kabayel. Since his loss to Kabayel,Herve has come back with two straight victories.
Hubeux and Rivas are similiar in weight but different in height, with Hubeux coming at 6′ 4″ and Rivas coming at 6′ 0½″. Hubeux might have advantage in reach as well.

    Prediction.

I favour Rivas by UD. Hubeux don't have big power, so he will be easier target ofr power puncher like Rivas. This will be a 10 round fight, so there will be no issues for Rivas stamina.

Good step up for Rivas, FINALLY. It's one class up. Is everything fine now with his vision? If it is, then it is going to be an easy decision or a late KO for him.

It seems so. Yeah, he might KO him in the later rounds.

The real question is : Is Hubeaux going to show up for the fight I remember he was supposed to fight against one of the Chinese heavies but it was cancelled, with only 2 weeks left I won't be surprised if this fight won't happen and Hubeaux gets replaced by another tomato can.

Hubeux was supposed to fight Zhang Zhilei in China and it was supposed to happen at least two times before the fight was canceled altogether.

I think it will happen, this fight is easier to make than Zhilei/Hubeux.

Rivas should get him out of there late, this is quite underwhelming for a "step up" match.

Hubeaux is painfully average, on the slow side, with stamina and workrate issues. Rivas is one of the more dangerous small heavies out there I expect him to win by a one sided affair and knockout.

I would love to see Rivas/Bellew. A good, competitive fight with plenty of action in it. Rivas might take it if his stamina holds up for gruelling 12 rounds.

If he gets some more experience against better opposition, he will beat him for sure.
