What in my post lead you to bring De La Hoya up, especially fishnets?

He's clearly on your mind and the fishnets. My post was strictly about an interview Golovkin made regarding fighting important fights. Lol

Michael Bentt was a world champion.

Does the fighter make the belt or the belt make the fighter?

Would Fielding have been a worthy opponent for GGG?

I cannot believe these two clowns @IsaL and @acie2g are actually arguing that Fielding was a good win.

Dude there is really no explanation needed GGG hasn't fought anybody worth a damn besides Jacobs and Canelo and Jacob's really hasn't done anything either... Is fielding some great All time win no but is he on par or better than Geale, Ouma, Murray and all these nobodies who are best known for losing than for any win they had.. yeah he is you think I'm hyping Fielding really I'm just pointing out how trash GGG record is.

How about you tell me who has GGG fought that is so much better than Fielding. Rocky isn't a top 5 win for Canelo but would be for GGG

    Ahh typical numb nut.

You put out a claim, get asked to explain it and then throw it back for them to explain it for you....

Nice try, you keep going down that road, you are only embarrassing yourself even more.

You explain why he is, then I will refute it.....it’s on you.

Lol ok I'll play your game, let's see how many Champions has GGG defeated Lemiuex and Geale, how many top quality fighters has GGG beaten 1 Jacob's in a fight he could easily have gotten the L in, who are the best names on GGG resume and what have they done in the sport Geale who got blown out by Cotto Murray who lost to a crippled Martinez, none of those guys have done anything, GGG has only fought 1 current title holder in his entire career. Fielding being a top 10 rated Champion off that along makes him better than GGG opponents. And in defense of GGG resume I'm sure all your going to bring up is those same guys losing to other fighters and making it seem like they are great for taking L's to other fighters or some bs about people ducking GGG when he has never made any type of concession to make a fight ever.

Let me put it to you this way.

Fielding was a titlist, was fighting a divison north of where Canelo was, was the biggest opponent of his career, and a top 10 SMW.

Not a bad f***ing fight to test the waters in Canelo's third division in two years.

I never said it was one of his top wins, or that Fielding was anything more than what he truly was, a top 10 SMW who held a title.

While I don't consider Rocky a big win for Canelo, I give Canelo credit for moving up giving up size, height, and reach to test the waters against the bigger men.

I think its worthy to also point out that Rocky Fielding held the exact same version of title Golovkin gets credit for defending 10 times before he was given the Super world version.

He's not better than Geale or Murray were. Fielding should have losses to Rebrasse and Ryder on his record too, he was fortunate to get those decisions. Well, not fortunate in the Rebrasse one just the home fighter. Murray would have beaten Fielding at 168. At his best, Fielding is just a Euro level fighter. There's nothing wrong with that, that's just what he is.

It was a garbage fight, same way Rolls and Vanes were garbage fights. It was made so Canelo can say he has a world title at 168 but that title ain't a real world title. It wasn't (IMO) when GGG had it, it wasn't when Quigg had it or anyone else. Vanes is a much better fighter than Fielding but those fights level out somewhat given that Vanes was smaller and inactive, and Canelo was smaller than Fielding.

Please stop. They were in no way comparable in terms of quality.
Vanes was dragged off the couch on short notice , was retired for two years and never had a fight , let alone win at Golovkn's weight of 160.
Rolls was an unranked club fighter not even known in his home country of Canada.

Nobody says Rocky is a good win , but he ranks above Vanes and Rolls. Thats the point people are making.

If GGG gets a pass for Vanes and Rolls , then it would stand to reason he'd get credit for moving up in weight to fight a big SMW for the belt he made over 10 defenses of. And Going UP to fight a poor opponent makes it more appealing that fighting the same type of fighter at your own weight.
A recent poll showed GGG fans wanted him to fight Murata more than anybody else in the division. Murata beat nobody holds the same belt at 160 that Rocky held at 168.

There's a dude above claiming that Fielding is on par or above with everyone on GGG's resume besides Jacobs or Canelo. That's who I was responding to. I also noted in my post that the size disadvantage Canelo suffered has to be mentioned too.
GGG doesn't get a pass for Vanes or Rolls. I called it a garbage fight, you literally quoted me saying that. Fielding was a garbage fight too. I know you like to go the way that will boil the most **** on this forum but it's OK to admit that it was a poor fight too. No one will think less of you...

What poll was that? How do you know everyone who voted was a GGG fan? Who cares about that shitty belt? N'Dam and Brandt are better wins than anything Fielding has done. What's your point here?
