Oscar wants Cotto after Mayweather...where does this leave Mayweather? I think all of Floyd's Cotto/ Margo ducking will come back and hurt him in the end...he will be assed out of the mix and Cotto will be the last man standing at 147. Once Cotto beats Margo his starpower will catapult him over Floyd in the rankings. Floyd will eventually be stripped of his belt for not defending it against a top rank WW and his so-called popularity...and I said so-called popularity because we have yet to see what he could do fighting strictly on his name and not on the coat tails of his more popular opponents...Oscar and Hatton for example. Mayweather may be more entertaining outside of the ring, but Cotto is more entertaining inside...where it really counts. :hat

If Cotto beat De La Hoya, I actually think it would make a Mayweather fight very probable. Perhaps Cotto could go after Hatton or Quintana/Williams afterwards just to make the demand for the fight MASSIVE.

I don't think it would leave Mayweather out in the cold. You have to consider the fact that, despite Cotto's more fan friendly style, Mayweather is still the top draw in boxing aside from De La Hoya.

Good for Cotto! he'll be getting the same opportunity as what was given to Floyd!

I DON'T KNOW IF THE FANS ARE GOING TO LIKE A REMATCH WITH QUINTANA... THEN AGAIN, IF THERE'S NO OTHER FIGHT IN THE HORIZON, IT COULD BE DONE...

Well, if Oscar loses to Floyd and Miguel beats Margarito then I don't want to see a Cotto-Oscar fight in December. If Oscar plans on retiring this year, then he should go out with an easier fight and say goodbye in a good way instead of losing your last fight.

People are bitching because Floyd wanted to fight oscar a second time, then decided to fight Hatton...also because Floyd claims to be P4P best fighter in the world yet he fails to fight any of the top WW in the division. Also because he ducked Cotto and claimed he was going to retire, but later disrespected the fans by coming out of his bogus retirement to fight oscar again, and even worst willing to fight hatton a second time, but yet no Cotto...pure bitchassness!

i would love to see Delahoya fight Cotto. that would be huge.

i think the odds of this really happening arent very good though. it seems like alot is depending on so many things to go right in order for it to happen.

Cotto versus Margarito is going to be tough. i can def see Antonio beating Cotto in this fight so theres no guarantee that Cotto will win.

at the same time, it seems more like Delahoya is looking for that fight IF he beats Mayweather. if that really is the case then it really is unlikely to happen. Oscar can beat Floyd but i really doubt it will happen and most people will agree with that.

oh and if it does happen, i pick Oscar over Miguel by TKO.

Its the same old story...Floyd ducked Hatton but when he fought and beat him it was OH when is he going to fight a welterweight. Its the same sh*t. If he fights Cotto and beats him it will just be something new.

I called this crap awhile ago. Floyd gets bashed for fighting Judah, but its a great fight for Cotto. Floyd gets bashed for fighting Oscar yet its a great fight for Cotto.

Im mean anyone that isnt a blind hater can see that its not about who Floyd is or isnt fighting, its about people just not liking the guy. Which is fine if they would just say "I dont like the guy, I dont care who he fights" which is the case with 80% of the guys b*tching about him now.

Cotto and Floyd will happen most defintlyin 09, why do yall think Arum wants Margo and Cotto in Vegas. But if yall want to see what itlooked like when Hoya beat Chavez. Then you you would want to see Hoya vs Cotto. With Cotto beating his ass to retirement
