His wife will not allow him to fight anybody who isn't Filipino and around half a foot shorter than he is. DLH is a joke nowadays. I hope Cotto retires him with a KO victory later this year and gets massive hype for it. DLH has had a great, exciting career, but now he's just interfering with great fights that could be made.
Damn people got bad memories cause if i remember correctly De la hoya said he will never fight Mayweather jr cause of Oscar trainer who happens to be Mayweather jr father. But good lord, De la hoya choose to fight Mayweather last year and was about to again this year. Oscar unlike Mayweather will fight the top fighters Like Cotto or Even Margarito and De lahoya has done that by facing the very best for years. I think De la hoya will fight Cotto If Cotto beats Margarito cause it's a huge fight and what better way to go out on top is by beating top 5 p4p undefeated second popular puerto rican fighter in Cotto.
