I mean even under ALL the 44523 conditions floyd had to agree/fight, floyd still beat him at 154. Now that says a lot about floyd, but it also says damn much about Oscar. Pathatic. Can still hardly believe that floyd had NO experience at 154 (like oscar first taking tune up at a new weight) and just fought oscar and beat him.
What where the conditions Floyd had to agree with? And yes, I agree with you, Oscar didn't even seem like he wanted to win the PBF fight, he looked like he was going through the motions like a tired old rock band. It was a far cry from the Oscar who stormed out in the Mosley fights and Quartey fight desperatley trying to finish the fight in the 12th!
I don't remember them all but when I read them it were like 12 of them or so... ring size/gloves/weight of course/floyd had to weigh in one month before and had to be lower then a specific weightatsch / There were about 8 more of those things which I don't remember.. but I am sure someone does
floyd weighed in what he wanted to, alot of people made up that floyd had to make 152 which was bull**** because floyd weighed in 150 and came in 148at fight night, floyd also picked the ring size for the hatton fight. and as for the gloves, floyd had some of his best wins with the reyes gloves (gloves that oscar picked) maybe next time floyd shouldn't sign a contract blind folded?
I think he did okay during the Floyd fight all things considered, he definitely didn't get beaten up, and he didn't get made to look totally foolish.. he just looked like a guy trying to make a fight against someone (albeit considerably slicker) who looked as though he wanted to avoid a fight.
i agree... he pathetic to me because he went to ricky hatton camp to tell him how to beat floyd.... talkinga bout how he laid the blueprints of how to beat floyd and a bunch of crap.... just sounds like a big ***** to me
Bull **** he had to weigh no-less then 152 or 154 at the time of the way in and did that with his clothing on and came into the fight at 150 not 148.. he also had to agree on the Reyes Gloves , in short floyd had to give Oscar a handicap fight. Floyd had some of his best win with Reyes gloves before his hands started to come apart, Oscar knew that floyd would be less likely to comment to any of his punches wearing Reyes Gloves because of the brittleness of his hands.
watch the weigh in video again he weighed 150, pimp c started the bull**** about floyd having to weigh in 152. and at fight night floyd weighed 148 watch the fight again idiot and listen to the post fight interview, i can see you get your information about boxing from these boards only.
