Ok now that we have the weight and the spelling prerequisites out of the way let talk oscar Floyd ..

Now are you telling me that Oscar didn't set handicaps in his favor for his floyd fight ??? And using your example that floyd came in at 148 I don't see how but just for argument , Oscar interred in the ring no less then 160 that night .

Are You trying to tell me you don't considered the fight stacked in Oscar's favor?!?!?

    Maybe he couldn't?
Maybe he wanted to come in lighter for the sake of mobilty?

Whats wrong if a fighter doesn't want to come in the same weight as his competitor?
    Its entirely his perogative.

Uh... no experience at 154? He is a boxer isn't he? Floyd said from day one that he would be just as comfortable fighting at 154, as he is as 147.

Also, I said from day one that it would have benifited OSCAR more if the fight was at 147. Oscar would have carried more speed, and been in greater shape. Oscar doesn't have to train very hard to make 154, as Oscar is not a naturally big man himself. Let's not forget that they BOTH started their careers at 130.

Also.... "44532 conditions"... what were those? Uh... FLOYD wanted to fight for a title in his 5th division, HE CALLED OSCAR OUT TO FIGHT HIM AT 154 FOR TWO YEARS! The reyes gloves? Wow.... what a big deal that was... Oscar has a promotional contract with Reyes gloves, and him and his opponents always use them.

What were the other big conditions? There weren't any. Jack-ass.

In the days of youtube I find it hard to belive that we have a 3 page argument about the stupid weigh in. Fast forward to about 3 minutes if you don't feel like watching the whole thing. You will see Floyd weigh in at 150 wearing nothing but boxers

    http://youtube.com/watch?v=Q5cIoxDUulo

Saying that Floyd could weigh no less than 152 is another myth started by dumb ass Oscar haters just like when they said that he weighed in 3 days before fights when he was a lightweight or that he forced Gatti to wear platform shoes so people would not see how much bigger Oscar was etc etc etc.

That being said I'll agree that Oscar looks a bit pathetic at this point of his career but he doesn't look 1/10th as pathetic as all the fighters that continue to call him out.

No, he didn't. They both wanted to be able to market the fight as Oscar the Champion, and Floyd trying to win his 5th Divisional Championship..... Big deal. Both of them are small guys for that weight.

Also... I guess we should be bashing Floyd for stacking the deck in his favor, making Hatton fight him at 147, AND in Floyd's backyard, with Floyd's ref? All of that seemed to have much more impact than Oscar vs Floyd fighting at 154.

again my question to Relentless is , does he or doesn't he think Oscar stacked the deck in his favor with his fight against floyd?

You could BUT Floyd did not pick hatton's Gloves and Cortez is the same ref Hatton used in his fight against Castillio and Las Vegas was turned into a mini Manchester and Hatton weighed 154 at fight time , the same weight he weighs in at on fight night at 140, floyd only gained 2 pound at the time of the fight .
