Oscar seems so hopelessly pathatic and shot

It's impressive b/c DLH is a very skilled and talented fighter.....but with FLoyd being at a new weight there was no question that Floyd was right smack in the middle of his prime years. He was at his peak while DLH was definitley past his. Even with DLH past his prime he's still a very dangerous fighter and one of the best....FLoyd is just "THE" Best Boxer in the world and proved that by beating a larger and the best fighter technically he has ever faced. Good close fight but I gave the nod to FLoyd....just barley though...could have gone either way.

LOL...Calm down there pit ol boy....do you honestly think that DLH didn't do anything or land anything in that fight? :rofl

He gave Floyd one of his toughest fights and was landing with the Jab and straight rights. He did his best work along the ropes but he faught evenly with Floyd for the most part...DLH was actully doing better in the beginig then Floyd started to come on later in the fight.

To say DLH didn't land anything and that his offense was doing anything is bogus and laughable. It was a close fight and that's the truth....floyd did a little better and got the nod but Oscar could have very well won the fight and there would have been the exact same amount of contreversy that there was after hearing a SD win for Floyd...that's how close this fight was.

Me personally.....gave the fight to Floyd by only a round and I was alone in my house by giving the nod to Floyd. 11 other boxing fans and friends all went for DLH to pull out the "W". You are acting as if this fight was Gatti vs Floyd all over again.:rofl

Very nice post Pit :good Just kidding.

You compared Floyd to a freight train :patsch
You compared Oscar to a Water gun :patsch
You were focused all your attention on what Oscar didn't do, but failed give any credit whatsoever to what he DID do.
You didn't critique Floyds performance at all, was he flawless? I hope not, because he didn't look all that great in that fight. :huh

Oscar was effective with his pressure, but you're right he ran out of steam a little. But answer me these simple questions:

    1) How do you think Floyd looked in that fight?
    2) If it wasn't one of his best performances; why not?

not at all. only floyd fans or groupies like yourself see it that way, this fight was 115-113 for floyd and oscar didnt even use his jab while it was his only chance.

So...I guess Floyd's victory over Oscar doesn't mean all that much then. You know, given how "pathetic" and "shot" Oscar was. :D

Seriously...think for one moment. Oscar fought well in that fight (I had him taking four out of the twelve that were fought)...do you honestly think a "shot, pathetic" fighter would have been able to do that against the best fighter in the world!?

Of course, you could be a PBF hater, and this is simply a way to detract from the accomplishment by diminishing the credibility of one of his opponents...
