Daniel Santos for his farewell fight in Dec. although i believe he will lose. O had always thought that Santos could beat Oscar even when Oscar was at the top of his just because style makes fight and I know Santos style would be to much for Oscar with Santos being a tall southpaw and he would be able to use his reach.

That fight won't happen. Oscar is going after Cotto period. It would have been a could fight back in the day, but Oscar would have prevailed with speed and agression. Santos is good, but not that good. He was at Vargas level not Oscar, Mosley, or Tito's level.

Santos is a good fighter but not on a Vargas level until he has Tito in trouble a couple times even knocking him down until Tito tees off on the nuts, gives Mosley a 1 point fight with 1 eye, fights DLH to damn near a draw before being stopped, beats up Quartey, outhustles Winky Wright and wins, rapes Campas and Raul Marquez or even does anything close to this then he aint on Vargas level.

Santos would of beaten Campas who quit and Marquez. Santos never had to opportunity to ever fight Mosley, Tito, or Oscar. He has on times called out Oscar to no avail. It is a mute point due to Vargas losing to those elite fighters. Quartey, Campas, and Marques were never elite. The Winky fight should have be either a draw or a close decision for Winky. At that time, Vargas was the money man and the HBO fighter. I know what you are saying as far as Vargas's heart, but he loss the fights that really counted for legacy. Actually, Santos is not done yet. Actually, a Mosley fight right now would be good.

pavlik? you do know oscar wants no part in the middleweight division!its not his weight class!he would get knocked out quick with pavlik.a fight with cotto is more reasonable for him.more of an even fight.

We know he won't fight Winky. The same Winky that Trinidad and Mosley were willing to face.

So much for Oscar fighting everyone, eh?

That guy that prices himself out of fights and then complains about it?
    He should retire.
