    OSCAR DE LA HOYA claims Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao are close to agreeing terms on the fight every boxing fan wants to see.

    It was feared the duo would never step foot inside the same ring due to various disputes over drug testing and how the purse would be split.

    But Golden Boy chief De La Hoya has revealed both parties are now on the verge of signing contracts.

    He said: "I can't talk right now in detail about the negotiations but I can say that we are very close.

    "Up until now, it's been a very difficult negotiation process for various reasons but right now we're very close.

    "I think right now we are very, very close in finalising the contracts.

    "It's going to be a big, big fight!"

    I think it will defo happen its just a case of when, now, next year, who knows?
