where's the contract, you tell me. You first have to have a verbal agreement before you put pen to paper...lol

There isn't one, that's what we are telling you. Until something is written on paper it doesn't mean a damn thing.

Dude, how the heck do you think Joshua-klitschko got made?

    https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/boxi...eights-agree-fight-with-december-10-the-date/

That's right a verbal agreement on terms.. how do you think a fighters or managers agree to terms? Over a text message? Through a letter?
Don't be so naive.. didn't Berchelt and Miura come to an agreement to fight recently? Do you think the contracts are signed yet?

All GGG had to do was accept the terms that's it.. contracts would have been drawn out, but instead GGG and his team wanted to try their luck and hold out in hopes that his PPV would do better, and that he'd look great against Jacobs convincing GBP that he deserved more of the pie. That didn't work out the way they planned.

They need to offer gg 40/60 or 45/55 and just get this fight made. tired of Oscars joke offers.

Did you even read the link you sent?

“It is now a case of getting the paperwork and the sanctioning in order. Hopefully in a couple of days we will have the official announcement.” You see that sentence right there where I underline and bolded it. There are actual paper trail on the terms they come to an agreement on. Real negotiation aren't tweet and email to news outlet that "i made a verbal offer to __ for X amount of money" That isn't a negotiation. Also you see the next sentence? It isn't official till the paper work is signed.

The first step in any contract, whether it be manager to boxer, promoter to boxer, or promoter to manager is verbal agreement. Remember Antonio Leonard sued Goossen Tutor for breach of contract for their verbal agreement to co-promote Andre Ward...!!!

And lost to Goossen in court.

Ofcourse all negotiation starts of verbal. If it is serious then there will be some form of contract. If you don't have one, good luck. It was just a bunch of hot air.

But they first have to agree to something verbally otherwise you dont know what to put in the contract. Therefore GGG should have accepted the 15 million offer, so either GBP has to put it in writing and MAKE IT REAL or embarass themselves because their bluff was called

You think after that agreement, they got the paperwork signed right after, just like that? How long do you think it took hearns to announce they had come to terms? 1,2,3 days? How many? And still no contract. Of course they had a verbal agreement.

The whole point of me mentioning a verbal agreement to begin with was to negate Chutz who seemed to think the offer wasn't a real one. All GGG HAD to do was agree to terms, and get it done. If it was fake, it would have been public. Simple.. so this" you have a copy of the contract" is way overblown and used as an excuse to why GGG didn't accept the 15 million. They actually wanted more than that. Now with this % talk going on, GBP will Maybe offer a %, but that % might be less than 15 mill. You think GGG will accept it?

Don't worry Oscar 's given Chavez the memo. He's too sneaky not to have it all tied up

I think you guys have to read the thread to get the context of what people are arguing over. No one disagree there was talk. Both parties have admitted it. It is absurb to say this some kind of a binding offer.
