You think it's impossible to promote a fight from June through early September? Really? Gullible much?

Well...you believed Oscar when he said those fishnet pics were fake, so you'll easily believe ANYTHING he says.

Impossible? No. Effective? Not sure. But why fight 3 months before the biggest richest fight of your life. Makes zero sense.

Don't worry when the Saunders fight gets cancelled, and Golovkin beats Canelo, we'll get to hear about how Golovkin ducked Saunders for the easier fight.

Pretty much same scenario with Klitschko/Chisora/Haye.

If I was GGG I would demand 60-40. Probably would agree to 65-35

Uhm, lets see... because two paychecks is better than one? 3G has been more active then most guys in boxing. That's what they like obviously.

If Saunders somehow upsets 3G, then boohoo, 3G loses out. Canelo simply finds another dance partner for September. Not like that would be difficult.

And lets not act like it's a foregone conclusion canelo wins. Chavez jr has a shot, albeit a small shot. 3G versus Canelo isn't even a guarantee for September UNTIL after May when the fight happens. And depending on the fight, even that could have a rematch that I'm sure GBP would take over a 3G fight.

GBP has no right to try and dictate another fighters schedule. Like I saiid, if 3G loses in June, then he loses. That's boxing isal.

2 two million dollar paychecks are not better than a Canelo payday.

Golovkin for a guy that cares more about his legacy and pleasing his fans always has issues with money when it comes to top fighters..

Why fight? Because It may well be his only chance to become the first undisputed champ in over a decade before other organizations start to strip him.

Why fight? Because he wants and needs to fight as often as possible while he still can.

Why fight? Because It's probably the only opportunity to get Saunders' ass in the ring with him.

Why fight? Because there's a very good chance GBP will want a Chavez Jr rematch if the fight in may is competitive enough, so GGG may well be left out in the cold if he misses on the opportunity to get the WBO belt in the meantime.

Why fight? Because he wants an homecoming bout, there'll be a big event in his hometown in june, his People want to see him there, his government is willing to spend big Money to bring him there.

If this really doesn't make any sense to you, then you need to get your head examined.

You realize BJSaunders < Canelo?? In terms of money and legacy 100 fold.

Not just money but legacy. Makes zero sense just like the way Golovkin's career has been poorly handled.

I wouldn't want Golovkin to get injured or cut baldy against Saunders, but if he does, I won't pitty him for missing out on his biggest payday and his one shot at having a legacy worth a damn.

Who the f*ck said that was better then what he'll get from Canelo? Nice reading comprehension there.

You idiots who repeat line like, "He cares more for legacy..." are just naive as hell. Every fighter cares about money. You noticed none of these guys fight for free?

How does 3G ALWAYS have issues with money? Look at the purses for his last fight FFS? Does it look like a 75-25 split 3G could have gotten? The WBC even declined PBC's attempt to change the split to 60-40. And yet the split was 2.5 mill and 1.75 mill, pretty close to the 60-40 PBC wanted. Yeah isal...such a HUGE issue with money...

You didn't adress any of the points I made.

-There's no guarentee a win over Canelo will be bigger than being the only undisputed champion in over a decade. That's very debatable.

-There's no guarentee GBP won't go for a Chavez Jr rematch in september. In fact, there's a very good chance that's exactly what they'll do if the First fight is remotely competitive. You conveniently ducked that part.

-This might be his only chance to bi involved in a big event in his hometown and give his People a Show.

There's no way you can be dumb enough for all this to not make sense to you. You're just dickriding Oscar.

And I wouldn't pitty GGG if he didn't get the Canelo payday this september either. I prefer to see a Jacobs rematch after BJS over it any day of the week.

ggg has a terrible history of making terrible business decisions. At 35 and being a 7year pro, and all the free HBO hype, he should be more popular and richer.

Im afraid the Saunders fight in September is just another bad move by GGG. Same ol shet different day.
