Golovkin's people mustn't get too excited about fighting Canelo this year.

The reason being is that they are fixated on stopping the BJS fight.

That's BS, because there's plenty of time to promote the fight and run a good camp. The real reason imho is because Canelo himself wants a crack at BJS and at taking his belt. Once he's got the belt he has a figleaf to cover his mini-me and to campaign at 160 with. No way in hell he can fight at 160 without facing Golovkin; the loss of face will be huge. If he has a belt he can claim he's "champion" and fart about until GGG is 38 before cherry picking him.

I still don't believe Fishnets is serious.

Wasn't that about crossdressing and premature wad blowing? Not sure I want to really see it.

It's exactly this. Although I doubt Canelo was really going to fight BJS. Billy said in one of the interviews that Canelo didn't want him.

I'm surprised he hasn't pulled a Nallege and just created a new account, since his current is so toxic. Maybe he should pretend to be a former world boxing champ like Blizzyblizz did.

Food for thought. The Cotto v Alvarez fight generated 900K ppv buys and Cotto's purse was 15 million and Alvarez's purse was 5 million. That's with Cotto getting 75% and Alvarez getting 25%. That's why, to me, if Golovkin was offered 15 million, he should grabbed it and ran because I simply don't see the numbers that would allow Golovkin to make 15 million as the "B" side. I guess Oscar finally realized this too and came to his senses and offered a percentage. That way he won't lose money.

OMG. How to twist the truth.

Yellow Canelo has taken ducking to a new level and now he's a breath (no e) of fresh air? He's more like a fart with the way he has avoided any dangerous fights. Floyd and Cotto aren't in the hurt business, they're in the money business. Cotto hasn't been a puncher since 140 and Floyd since 135. They fight each other, all make a **** load of money, the fights are close decisions and they rinse and repeat.

That's what Wrangello has been avoiding, anyone that can starch him. He got a boxing lesson against Lara but knew he'd still be standing at the end to get the win.

Let's see if this chicken s--t gets in the ring with GGG.

All GGG and his time had to do was call DLH's "bluff", but they didn't.

Call his bluff how? By signing an imaginary contract with an invisible pen?

Yeah - it does suggest all involved thought more was in the pot. Personally, I'm not convinced that the 15m offer was totally legit - there was prob some caveat in it that will emerge later that made it unrealistic or nothing more than an offer made in the press rather than real life.

Try a little common sense. If GGG/team really thought the offer was fake he could have accepted it through the media and DLH
would have looked ridiculous trying to take it back.

But the offer was real and GGGs team got greedy that's the reason the refused to accept it.

DLH is making a good move after seeing GGG's recent dismal PPV numbers. He was banking on Canelo/GGG being a huge
fight but it seems no amount of "marination" can get the casuals to buy a GGG fight.

Probably so. I can't see Oscar really offering that much money and it wouldn't have made sense for Golovkin not to accept it in my opinion.

"The offer was real" I take it you have a copy of the contract GBP sent Golovkins team?

THe offer was made, GGG/s team refused it cause they thought they deserved more, they never said offer was bogus.

But Go ahead and take the douche angle, I'm sure you can play that all day long!
