Huge fight tomorrow. You have to give Oscar tremendous amounts of respect for once again at his age, stepping into a fight against the #1 pd 4 pd fighter in the world. Cutting down to 145 pounds, getting himself in great shape and giving us boxing fans yet another mega-fight. Outside of a few inches in height, these guys will be the just about the same size come fight night.

Sorry haters... I know that you keep trying to downplay this fight in case Oscar wins.:good

Sorry, Oscarsexual, Oscar gets no credit for this ****ing Freak Show, masquerading as a fight, and all for $54.95, call your local cable Operators NOW!!! (Commercial Fades).....this is all about $$$$$$. Thats why the Golden Primadonna, and Richard Schaefer have the ****ing Audacity to put on a NON-TITLE PPV with a crap undercard, and charge damn near 60 bucks for it, against a former straweight, this close to Christmas in this **** economy.

Oscar is a multimillionaire. He has people to run GBP for him. All his job is, is to exercise and train, with Private Personal Trainers, Dieticians, Conditioning Coaches, Flexibility Coaches, Strength Coaches, ect. It's amazing what 600 million in the bank can do huh, Widdowmaker? For that amount, hell, Roseann Barr could probably make 145 as well.

I hope he loses, so Karma can hit him in the ass, but Oscar, being the kinf of "man" he is would probably like it there. :deal

Either the weight indicates he's in great shape and has been for awhile or he overdid it. I think oscar is too smart to be off that much unless he has really had controll of his weight. I'll just wait till tommorrow to see what they weigh before the fight to see how much oscar drained himself. If he comes in less then 10lbs heavier then he is probably in great shape.

As for pacman. I like the decision to not put the full amount of weight on. I was worried about him weighing in around 147 and possibly gaining more wieght. Pac should be at his best though I don't think it will be enough to beat oscar.

I saw floyd mayweather not get hit 1 time by the left hook of oscar. In round 1 mayweather let oscar hit him 8 times in a row with the left hook to the body and didn't drop his hand to guard it. He kept his hand by his face and didn't let oscar hit him with the left hook in the face. Pacman doesn't have that type of defense and he will take some left hooks and I don't know if he's ready for that. If DLH hit's him half as much as JMM did with the left hand then Pacman is going to sleep.

I think if he wins it will be significant, but not a huge win by any means. People certainly are underestimating how tough this fight will be for him. He's facing the best fighter in the world who has been weighing 147 lately anyway. It will be an exciting fight and we should appreciate that, regardless of the outcome. Oscar looks drained though and I think a Pacquiao win is actually somewhat likely, it's getting close to a 50/50 fight in my eyes.

As has been said 1000 times... these fights have happened hundreds of times throughout history. Stop trying to act as if Oscar is the first guy to fight someone naturally smaller than him, it used to be something that nobody thought twice about. Harden the **** up.

I agree. I can't stand this fight. It's like bringing the circus to boxing. 135 has JMM, Nate Cambel and Jaon Guzman. 140 Has Hatton. I would have rather seen any of those than this mess.

For Oscar he could have faught and beat margarito or lossed to paul williams or even a long overdue fight with winky wright but not this circus match.

This is a very dangerous fight for Oscar. With his age, and inactivity level... jumping in against the best in the world pd 4 pd... sure isn't going to be an easy task. I would be surpised if there is more than 5 pounds between them on fight night. Manny is at the peak in his career right now, and has clearly matured into his weight. He weighed 147 on fight night during his last fight at 135.... which he admitted that it killed him to cut that weight.

People on this site are having a damn orgasm over a few inches in height. As if Diego Corrales was an unstoppable fighter due to his height advantage. Oscar is a few inches taller, broader at the shoulders, and Manny has a bigger gord, and much thicker legs. There isn't much size difference to speak of. Manny's quickness and explosiveness would be his keys in this fight anyways.

Right because all time greats like Pernell Whitaker, and Chavez are clearly bums. Along with guys like Quartey, Vargas, Ruelas, Leija, John John Molina, Gonzalez, Hernandez, Mayorga, ect... If Oscar would have not been robbed against Tito and Mosley in the second fight... his haters wouldn't have considered those big fights either. His haters only consider his "big" fights, to be the ones in which he didn't get the decision. You can make a case for him winning every single one of his fights besides his fight against Hopkins. Considering his resume... that is quite impressive.

I am glad that you admit that this is a big fight.

Are you outta your ****ing mind? This fight doesn't enhance Oscar's legacy it hurts it win lose or draw. He's fighting a guy that he dwarfs who has no business at 147. Only a delusional Oscarsexual like yourself thinks this is worthy of praise....unbelievable.:-(
