Oscar doesn't want to fight a Mexican in his last fight, and because he feels that Paul Williams is the best welterweight in the world, he will pursue this fight.

And he covered his bases with Mora by saying that Mora is not Mexican, but rather Mexican-American. How convenient.

Do you think this fight gets made???

I would be very impressed with Oscar if he had the balls to take on PW at this stage.

I heard Williams is looking for an opponent and DLH wants a big fight berfore he retires, so this makes a lot of sense. I'll give Oscar a lot of credit if he takes this fight.

No way Oscar is fighting Paul Williams. He certainly will lose.

Won't happen, he has a better chance beating Mora.

Golden Boy is bullshitting. This is false propoganda IMO. They're trying to sell the story that it really is the "Mexican" excuse they're using for Margarito. Shaefer and De La Hoya read the websites, I've heard them talk about it, they want positive spin. I don't believe a word of it, no possible chance in hell that De La Hoya fights Williams. No chance.

Type of fight that PTP needs. It would be the biggest possible stage for him to show off his talent and would set the stage for the rest of his career. Margarito would certainly agree to to a rematch and Pavlik's people would probably look his way again.

It's the fight that could potentially make PTP a crossover star.

    But it's not happening. :-(

I still think DLH should fight Cotto despite the loss to Margo. and PW should fight Margo!

Never mind what I think . . . I'll just hope this one gets made and become a reality. Williams is a decent fight for Oscar . . . a lot better than a Pacquiao fight.

Like what I've been saying Oscar should fight for a legit title against a legit opponent before he retires . . . never mind the $$$.:deal

    :thumbsup :good

I say this one makes sense for Oscar. But MP fights is a bigger draw in terms of PPV. Oscar will be in dillemma to choose between boxing as a sports or as a business.
