Thats funny. Because for most of GGGs career he's been the one feasting on blown up JrMWs and no hopers.... While Canelo is the one who has fought Mayweather, Trout, Lara, Cotto and was scheduled to fight Williams and Ortiz.

I still can't get over how Abel accused Canelo's team have having illegal hand wraps and he got into a fight with the NSAC official trying to tell the official what the rules were regarding hand wraps. It seems that Sanchez and Loeffler had been telling opposing trainers for years how they can and can't wrap their fighters hands even though what they were telling fighters they couldn't do wasn't in the rule book.

This was apparently some kind of unwritten rule that people believed was illegal probably because Sanchez and Loeffler told people it was illegal. But upon closer inspection there's nothing in the rule book about it. It sounds like Loeffler probably just asked the people who he told it was illegal years earlier if they thought stacking was illegal, and presented those opinions to Bob Bennett to get him to change the rule since they didn't like that hand wrap style lol.

That's not a contradiction.

GGG took the short end of the money (and everything else) in the first fight and in the negotiations to the May rematch.

Since the May fight was cancelled by NSAC / Canelo pulling out, GGG wants a better deal for September 15 than he previously had for a May rematch.

 

According to Loeffler, he requested a better deal for his boxer - which De La Hoya rejected
