The quote said nothing about being willing to make sacrifices for a SEPTEMBER fight. In fact, they want a better deal (i.e. more money) than what they had in May.

Making sacrifices would have been meeting Canelo at his requested CT or taking the first offer they were given.

He had never made a 1/4 of the money he earned against Canelo in any of his previous fights.

He'll make another fortune for the rematch , but is requesting more. GB aren't going to give GGG more money out of the goodness of their heart because the first match was cancelled. Especially after all the mud slinging from Team GGG.

Yes Loffler also lies (as do most promoters, but DLH clearly is worst than most of not all), no I don't support him. I don't take sides by default because i'm a grown up. I do like watching GGG but wish he would forget the Ginger diva and go for fights with BJS, Charlo and Derevyanchenko - although I do understand he wants the big paydays at his age.

 

Golovkin and his team fueled the fire that forced the NSAC to suspend Canelo and push the date of the hearing back. Sanchez put the whole hand wraps issue out there which only fueled the public outrage more. Golovkin made disparaging comments towards Canelo and De La Hoya. If Golovkin and his team wouldn't have speculated and added fuel to the fire, the fight may have been saved. But they fueled the fire and forced the NSAC's hand to suspend Canelo. Sanchez made it seem like Canelo was getting special treament specifically over the hand wraps, even though he wan't and they were perfectly legal. Sanchez made statements asking why Canelo wasn't being tested, that he needed to enroll in VADA even before negotiations. Canelo does that, re-enrolled in VADA like Sanchez requested, but still it's that's good enough, now Golovkin needs a better deal lol.
