I'm glad GGG isn't prostituting himself for a payday to get robbed again. Clenelo already got his chance and failed, then he got busted 2x for PEDs. That cheating scumbag doesn't deserve another shot.

El Chicano how can you just be so oblivious? Your thought process has completely blinded you from the fact that GGG is a better fighter, hands down. The only thing Canelo has that's better than GGG is his hair. That's about it. Power - GGG. Footwork - GGG, Ring Generalship - GGG. Counter Punching - Even, Defense - Even, Ring IQ - GGG, Chin - GGG. What makes you hate this guy so much that you create at least one post, up to 4 a day bashing GGG. Greedy you say? How about Canelo has been caught cheating and with the score cards from the last fight, GGG has right to negotiate. GGG is a true professional, a nice guy, a tremendous boxer, exciting, and comes to fight every fight. Are your antics just for show? To get arise out of folks? Calling others idiots for blaming Canelo? You're pretty lost arent you? Almost as bad as MVC (who is on ignore list so I cant see a retort if he replies, or maybe hes still banned where he should be.)

So Golovkin got "robbed" while Canelo got his chance and failed. If Golovkin was robbed then obviously Canelo didn't fail otherwise you wouldn't claim it was a robbery. So that right there is a contradiction.

It's amazing to hear so many Golovkin rans support the ducking of a Canelo rematch. Do you have any idea how cowardly this is? You're spinning both the decision and the clenbuterol situation in the most dramatic and anti-Canelo way possible to try to justify Golovkin literally ducking the rematch.

How can any boxing fan not want to see a conclusive winner between these two combatants? If it takes two fights, if it takes three fights, it would be a travesty if the tiebreaker does not occur.

As far as getting busted 2x for PEDs and being a cheating scumbag, sheesh, that sounds really bad. And you can make this conclusion how? Because you're a Golovkin fan and that sounds good to say that lol. Buddy we have zero evidence that Canelo took clenbuterol pharmacologically. OK zero, you saying he's a cheating scumbag, well if that makes you feel better. This idea that because he tested positive twice that makes it worse is humorous. He was tested twice within 3 days, what do you expect with two tests so close together?

I just want to see the fight that the public deserves. There's no evidence that "Canelo screwed up". For all we know, Canelo didn't do a thing wrong and was just unlucky eating the wrong meat. He got suspended due to the outrage that was generated and the pressure that was on the NSAC to not be percieved to be giving Canelo any kind of special treatment.

Canelo's done everything asked of him, he's given a hair follicle test, he re-enrolled in VADA prior to negotiations. I said last week that every time Canelo does what is asked of him, it seems to turn out to be not enough.

Personally I think that what is stalling negotiations has to do with the IBF and their decision that they have in front of them about whether or give Golovkin more time to fight his mandatory so he can fight Canelo in September without vacating the belt. And despite what some Canelo fans say, I don't think it's Golovkin's fault that he hasn't fought his mandatory yet. However that doesn't excuse Golovkin fans from trying to justify avoiding the rematch, nor can we ignore the fact that Canelo has done everything asked of him and still the rematch may not happen.

Personally I think if the IBF doesn't force Golovkin to vacate, the rematch will probably happen, but if they insist on the Aug 3rd deadline to fight the IBF mandatory, then Golovkin is going to have a difficult decision to make because you know he doesn't want to vacate that title. I just come from the standpoint that boxing fans deserve to see the rematch ASAP and a 3rd fight if needed.

I was bummed that the fight was cancelled in May, it got us into this ridiculous situation now with the IBF and now stalling of negotiations. That's all I am about, just wanting to see the fight that we've been waiting for since September.

That is the wrong thing!!! there is no way you can spin that. He got suspended because he broke the rules, intentionally or not. He caused all of this to happen so he has to be sanctioned.
And GGG has every right to ask for a better deal, because, unlike Canelo, he did not do anything wrong.
    Sometimes I think I'm talking to a bot :D

LOL look first of all, testing in boxing is voluntary. The NSAC doesn't even require you to be tested for them to sanction a fight OK. Now I know testing is becoming a standard and that's a good thing, I am in full support of VADA testing OK.

But lets not act like they had to sanction Canelo because they didn't. When there's a positive drug test, there is a process that starts, i.e. a hearing where the matter is heard and if necessary, punishment / suspension / fine etc.

Wasn't this the first time a fighter tested positive for clenbuterol in Nevada? So they apparently had little experience with the meat contamination issue. You know very well that there was pressure due to the outrage to suspend Canelo. Canelo actually agreed to a 6 months suspension prior to them even making a ruling because the May date had already been lost !

The NSAC was faced with a difficult decision regardless, but lets be clear there is no rule that if you test positive for any drug you are automatically suspended! I understand the no tolerance policy but again that doesn't automatically result in a suspension, but rather a process of adjudication where a decision has to be made over what should happen.

And again, you go back to fighters like Nery and Vargas who tested positive "broke the rules" according to you but yet they didn't even face a hearing let alone a suspension lol. I know those were outside of Nevada and everywhere handles situations like this differently but no, they didn't have to suspend Canelo at all, every situation is handled differently and if you remember back there were plenty of people who thought that the NSAC wasn't even going to suspend Canelo at all before he was suspended. It's silly for you to "play dumb" and act like everything that happened was perfectly normal, the entire situation was contrived, there's no use in denying it. And the point is that, even with all the BS Canelo has been cleared to fight in September so it's a moot point. To use it as an excuse to justify Golovkin ducking the rematch is cowardly. Not only that but I'm not even against the idea of Golovkin getting a better deal if that's what's needed to make the fight. I don't think he's deserving of it, but if lets say the IBF fines him for giving him another extension, I would support both sides splitting the IBF extension fee or something. Understand that I would support anything needed to make the fight happen.
