Grade A granite. Pacquiao beat on his corpse and he never had him on jelly legs.

It was very good, wouldn't put it as high as top 10 all-time. He had surprisingly good and underrated defence for a guy who hardly moved his head and his straight up style. I don't remember him take too many flush shots in any one fight, besides the Pacquiao fight, and Pac hasn't been able to stop his last 3 opponents, who were similar in size to De La Hoya.

This thread is ridiculous anyway. You can't know who the greatest chins are unless they all line up and take punches until they fall. There are quite a few guys who've shown they can take flush shots from big, big punchers. Oscar's one of them. Not much more you can say besides that.

most guys would have stopped swinging after the 1st shot that they didn't see landed

the 2nd one he didn't see makes him buckle, and he still keeps on trying to swing

    iron chinned hero

Because he had already won on the cards and in the real world there was no way Trinidad couldn't get enough points to even get close to a win. Vegas robbed ODLH because they didn't like the way he won. End of story!

    Great chin , great fighter.

The Quartey knock down was solid , but he got up.

Quartey's knock down was a flash one. It definitely derailed him for a couple of rounds since he started respecting Quartey's power too much. Oscar got way too aggressive with Ike when he knocked him down and paid the price.
