Scroll up. Did my previous posts not make sense? Or drive the point home? I thought Oscar dominated Trinidad, MUCH more so than he did Whitaker. And hell, he lossed against Trinidad. Vargas, Chavez, Gatti...those were great victories. Whitaker was his worst victory, easily.

    Obviously not.

Maybe it wasn't DLH's greatest performance but he came away the victor so it was a great win!

Oops, I take that back. Sturm was his worst victory.

No, it was just a win. What makes it great? Just because of who it was he got the "W" against? I guess it was great if you put a lot of money on it. I can't at all see what, besides that, makes it great. If someone were to put together a clip of De La Hoya's greatest wins, they'd surely leave this one out. If they put together a clip of De La Hoya's most controversial wins, this one would be a centerpiece.

    You're just arguing semantics now.

DLH beat a great legend therefore it was a great win.

I can tell you my newb friend, you haven't seen nothing yet on how things are here in ESB.

When a great fighter loses, he must be past prime. That is just the way it is here in ESB.:patsch

When Jones lost to Tarver, he was younger than Tarver. Yet he lost so he must be shot at that time.

Same thing with Barrera. He was "apparently" on the downside wheh Pac beat him. FFS he was only 29 at that time. And to add insult to injury, after he lost to Pac, Barrera went on and put on a spectacular performance against Ayala, Morales, etc.

Did you happen to notice how not a single one of those landed? I can't think of a single instance in which a fighter threw more punches into the air in such a short time. Thanks pryorgatti.
