Who wins? Remember Gatti could box, stick and move kinda. With a helluva chin. Valdez has always looked average to me, and his fight VS Shakur seemed to reinforce that.
Hell of a fight But i gotta go with Gatti. Valdez is a better boxer with a higher ring IQ, but Gatti had the power to change things in an instant. Imagine the war these 2 would fight at 130.
Gatti would be too big and too powerful for Valdez who looked like a runt leprechaun child against Stevenson. Gatti was huge People are forgetting all the life and death wars Valdez was involved in against Marriaga, Adam Lopez, Servania, Quigg, Conceicao and I think there might even be more @CST80 might remember
I said this before the Shakur fight.. I guess people forgot about the struggles he’s had before against lesser skilled opponents..
I've never really rated Berchelt and it's looking like Valdez caught him at the right time and while Valdez was likely enhanced
Gatti takes his share of lumps but stops Valdez late. Arturo has a little bit more firepower, and that's the difference in the fight.
