    Why isn't this fight talked about more? An absolutely mouth watering fight for the unified featherweight title. Valdez has really grown on me as a fighter, he straight up beats mother ****ers up with such technical skill.

    I favor Russel slightly, but Valdez is a live dog.

    God I wish for this fight to happen!!! Both excellent fighters. I also favor Russel but only by a millimeter though. I can see it turning into a war.

    Gary would literally have to box his ass off and move. Valdez has Ggg like power for his weightclass. If he can touch gary he's gonna hurt him. Id lean toward a valdez stoppage.

    Ive never seen Russell badly hurt, even when Loma was landing **** after shot.

    Gonzalez has plenty of power too.

    My main annoyance with Russell is how inactive he is.

    I've never seen Gary hurt, I think he has a decent enough chin to withstand Valdez's onslaught, but who knows. It's a great match up, would like to see Russel in with a top 10 contender for a tune up before this bout though.

    Hopefully Arum doesn't pull a Gamboa/JuanMa with us.

    This is a great match-up as usual from Al Haymon.

    Great competitive match-up that I can't bet because I really like both fighters. I really hate for either of them to lose.

    This fight won't be made this soon. To be honest Valdez would probably beat Russell but his people won't let this fight happen just yet.

    Funny to call a guy with 28 bouts in 7 years inactive...but 5 bouts in 3 years and just 1 fight last year and 1 so far this year tells it's own story. Him and his team wasted a number of his prime years and what should have been a great career was spent fighting Hyland, Tamayao,Martin, Ruiz, Gusev and Castaneda....
