Oscar has been on a decline, it’s a pick ‘em fight.

Wilson has good power but his chin can let him down this could be a war as Valdez has a good chin and good power. If Wilson can tighten his defence up he can win this. The fight with Jackson England he just had last month will keep him in good stead.

Valdez by K.O is my prediction.

Wilson very capable of also K.O'ing Oscar.

Oscar has lost to two champions in Shakur and Nav. Wilson had a good fight against J.England and was severely tested. But Oscar's ring i.q and crafty left hook even if he does over use it will Catch Wilson at some point and Wilson won't be able to sustain that power. He'll get swarmed anyway even if it's not the left hook. Additionally look at Valdez's durability in the beatings he got against Shakur and Navarette. Balboa like chin and heart. Mad **** to the death.

Valdez will win and I'm rooting for him here. My own countrymen or not. I'm a Valdez fan and this Wilson fellow can count himself lucky he's getting this shot instead of the man that beat him in his last outing.

That being said, Liam was robbed vs Nav back in Glendale Arizona last February. So he was also '' owed '' some luck. But it shouldn't come at the other fella's expense.

    Great Fight. Go Oscar!

I just hope Wilson gets the chance to weigh-in the same as his opponent & doesn't get delayed for 27-seconds if he scores a knock-down.

What are you talking about? That was just a veteran tactic! The commentary team told me so! :sisi1

Still irritates the hell out of me to think about that fight, and I didn't even have any inclination toward either guy when I tuned in. All I knew was Navarrete was a guy coming up in weight and Wilson was a career 130 pounder that was a last second replacement and widely expected to lose pretty easily. I'm not even gonna say Wilson would have for sure finished him off if he hadn't got the extended time to recover, but it's a damn shame he got screwed out of the opportunity to try for it.

On the plus side, it gave me a boxer to dislike and tune in for in the hopes of losing. That's been pretty fun I reckon

Anyways, damn fine fight, looking forward to seeing this one. Wonder if this is outside of that proposed four man tournament or if Valdez is replacing someone in it, or if it's even going on with the proposed lineup. Regardless, some good fights are in 130's near future :ggg

Wilson should get more credit for going into Valdez backyard after he got screwed in the Nava fight last year. If Valdez was coming to Queensland Australia for the fight his fans would be polishing his nuts

I dont really understand all this talk that Wilson was robbed due to the long count and the mouth-guard incident.
The replay clearly shows that Liam punches Nav, whilst he (Nav) has a glove on the canvas and this causes him to stumble.
It should have been a DQ for Wilson or at the very least a one-point penalty.
Yet, all the Australian media reports how he was robbed.
But yes, agreed that something funny happened at the weighin.

I got wilson by Knock out.Valdez power is overrated he puts everythang in his punches. He will forget to stay defensively responsible when he throws wild azz shots of his and take a massive shot preferably (Left hook) and get ktfo!!

The interim title is now on the line for this fight. If the winner gets elevated I can see them making a unification fight with Foster
