I guess that was karma trying to repay the poor Mexican for that shitty decision vs Trinidad:think

That's closer to my scorecard... I had it 6-5-1 for Sturm and I was watching it with my dad who scored it dead even at 6-6. Personally I don't see the controversy in this one because it could've gone either way IMO, and I don't say that often.

Change it to Mexican-American if it makes you feel any better but the point still stands:deal

Or maybe the split decision loss to Mosley in the first fight, where Mosley was on roids and took the later rounds of the fight. Or the rematch, where ODLH outlanded a still roided Mosley according to compubox. Funny you never see people complaining about those decisions around here.

I don't feel sorry for Sturm, the fight was there for him to take, and he just showed no interest in it.

This was a close fight, Sturm must have had it in his mind that he only needed to defend, but comming over to America fighting house hold named Oscar De La Hoya when nobody has ever heard of you, and there is a potential Hopkins DLH fight should DLH win you can not and should not be giving away early rounds.
This is exactly why he lost the fight, could have gone either way but I felt He gave Oscar too many early rounds in this fight. if your a no name to the rest of the boxing public you must make it clear especially against a name like De La Hoya especially when there is a hopkins fight lined up

DLH-Hopkins was already made and DLH just wanted to have Sturms WBO belt. That was the only reason this fight was made. Sturm was robbed vry badly :|

HBO also felt that Mayweather lost to Castillo, I had it a single point win for Oscar, it was a close fight, Oscar won the majority of the early rounds, sure he got his ass whipped the last third of the fight, but every round counts when it goes down to the score cards.

8-4 Sturm. I don't care if it's only a jab, a jab > occassional flurries that hit gloves and air.

occassinal my ass, Oscar was landing at a very high rate to the body early on in that fight and was consistant with that body attack for the 1st half of the fight, Body shots count just as well as head shots and I beleive in the 5th he stunned Felix as well.
