Each guy can come in at whatever weight he choses, in May.

    How would it go.

Be objective. No haters or deluded fans of either guy.

I like both fighters equally. But I'm of the opinion that Oscar could come in at a severe weight disadvantage and still make Tito his *****, now more than ever.

A fight for lovers of nostalgia, but a DLH-Tito rematch doesn't count for much. When this fight meant something, DLH had the win for the taking, but spent his defining moment doing the Bossa Nova.

then tito would have a size advantage.

dlh would weigh in at around 154 or so, and tito would have about a dozen lbs on him.

hard to beat a guy bigger than you like that.

De La Hoya has something better than RJJ. Combination punching, which was the key in beating Trinidad for Jones.

De La hoya would totally outclass this version of Trinidad who was recently schooled by A Roy who was outboxed and KO by Tarver and that other nobody.

that faded roy is a light heavyweight (who fought closer to smw against tito).

    oscar is a junior middleweight.

    huge size difference.

Roy Jones didn't use his size to beat Trinidad. RJ used his quick hands and combinations.

Oscar De La Hoya seems to have hands as fast as RJJ but throws better combos than this version of Jones.

Had Jones used a style where he would impose his size to beat Trinidad then I'd see where you're coming from, but he didn't.

De La Hoya also has a better reach and jab than RJJ which would be essential in beating Trinidad as Winky did.

De La hoya set the blue print to beating Trinidad, since then they have beat him 3 more times every fighter modifying the blue print a tad more. A skilled and talented fighter like Oscar will surely outbox trinidad.
