And all the pac-huggers need to realize this. He looked slow as **** against Mayweather, Mosley, Forbes and Sturm. Bernard Hopkins beat the **** out of him years ago. The only time he's looked half-decent in the last 6 years is with the Mayorga fight and the Campas fight, hardly top level opposition. Against everyone else he's fought since Fernando Vargas, 6 years ago, he's been looking more and more shot.

If he didn't own his own promotional company he would've disappeared years ago. Just like Holyfield can get title shots aged 44 despite being horrible shot and putting himself at risk, De La Hoya used his name to get the Pac fight. The only reason people were giving him the edge was coz of the size difference, which shows just how you can't reduce boxing to weights and numbers. In every other respect, De La Hoya was shot YEARS ago.
