That's my entire STRUGGLE! Floyd is great at manipulation and deception for his own purpose. Usually he has money on his mind. If it's all psycological and it's a means to an end I dig that.....but he's doing a damn good job at throwing MOST off the trail.

The whole drug testing issue wouldn't have been an issue had Floyd not created unfounded rumors and accusation meant to tarnish pac as a professional as well as his character.

That **** Floyd shouldn't have EVER done. You know as well as me if this role was reversed and it was manny making these accusations and it was manny would based his DEMANDS for Floyd to test to clear his name that stemmed from comments he and his team created.....Floyd would tell pac to go **** off and teh fight wouldn't even be a topic now.

However.....the roles AREN't Reversed and it was Floyd who proceeded that way. It is what it is......I have the utmost respect for Floyd and what he does, but Man I can't get down with his tactics leading up to this fight....there's NO possible way I can justify it. it's all smoke and mirrors to me.

Bob said he was scared of needles...NOT manny. Manny said back in 2004 or 2005 how having blood taken from him weakens him and specifically gave his example on how it affected him in his only loss since teaming up with Roach against EM. That was well documented. The socks and Gloves excuse was just.... "specail":rofl Of course the rematch went completely different and he didn't have blood taken the day before the fight and he probably got better socks and actually wore reyes gloves.

It could have all been "mental" for Manny which you said it yourself.....it's a HUGE part of this game.

yes well obviously floyd is gong to use the mental game and psycologcaly to his advantage and nobody elses, just lke sugar ray did, and the other masters like ali. there are more then 1 way to skin a cat.

the drugs accusations were not from floyd initially, if pac cared so much about his rep why didnt he agre and get the drugs accusations out the way by taking the test. you cant back him on that one my friend he had no excuse not to take test.

if the roles wre reversed then you can imagine the **** that floyd would be going through, but this drug contreversy has done goo, all publicity is good publicty. when/ if this fight goes ahead then you can imagine howmany more people are going to buy.

its all psycological and marketing my friend. mayweather dont think he is on drugs he breaking him down mentally and promoting the figt with contoversy that is all

Same here. And of the four rounds Oscar won, three of them were rounds Mayweather took off.

Anyway, I think there are still a few guys who could give Mayweather problems. I still think Williams could give him some problems, but now that there's so much tape out there on how to counterpunch him, I still think Mayweather would win (but between having double the workrate and being able to actually reach Floyd when he leans, he could theoretically take rounds). If he takes on the challenge, I think Martinez would have a shot. Floyd has had his issues with southpaws in the past, and he would be a big one who's also an accurate puncher. The other southpaws at 154 (Dzinziruk, Spinks, etc.) are mostly too basic to be able to do much.

Prime for prime, I think Travis Simms would have given him a boatload of trouble. And if he can improve his defense, Mike Jones has the physical assets to give him trouble.

Based on Floyd's prior actions, I doubt anyone catches him on the decline. He'll retire first. For someone who says he cares so much about money, he doesn't seem to care much about making fights to earn it.

B/c the drug tests were based on false accusations from the other side! That's like someone calling you a ***....and spreading it around your neighborhood and even though they have no proof or evidence they are saying it anyway.

Then they give you a DEMAND in order for you to clear your name....just take a lie detector test... I mean seriously....take a test to clear my name based on some old bull **** you started? Fo' real?:verysad

Not to mention the damage is already done and NO test are 100% guranteed to catch those who are doping....Not even remotely close.

So even if PAC agreed....there would be no gurantee that it would remove all the doubt the accusations created in the minds of everyone b/c there is always room for those with the resources to beat ANY tests if they truly wanted to dope.

And it was a built in excuse that works out any which way for Floyd. If he loses it was b/c the tests didn't catch PAC with the "a side of meff"......if Floyd won.....they'll do what they are doing to Shane....saying he wasn't able to be on that **** so therefore it's PROOF that Shane was doping before.

Floyd just made an impossible foundation for negotiating a fight with manny even before the actual negotiations started.

Shane Mosley was a beast. If floyd-mosley could have fought when mosley was a lightweight then i think he could have beat him. Mosley was quick as **** at 135.

Not really...:nono Shane and Oscar are completely different fighters. Just because boxer A beats boxer B, and boxer B beats boxer C, doesn't mean boxer A beats boxer C automatically.

For starters Mosley has a horrible Jab. Oscar has an ATG jab. Oscar is swift on his feet, Mosley is more flat footed. Oscar punches from odd angles, Mosley needs to be set to release.

    Just completely different fighters.

I agree that Pac is probably the only fight that makes sense for Floyd at 147, but I highly doubt Williams beats Floyd.

I 100% agree but in terms of style I think that a prime shane was no where near the Shane we saw get dominated by Floyd. Shane hasn't been throwing combinations that he was known for at the begining of his career and during the PRIME years....Shane hasn't been as fluid and going to the body like he's known for at the lower weight classes.

The jab is a big problem but he made up for it with his ability to lead with the right as quick as most peoples jabs and he had great footwork plus movement.

At the end of the day I honestly feel DLH was a better boxer than Shane...I think Shane was a bit more athletically inclined which helped him in his battles with Shane. I only feel Shane won the first fight....the 2nd I feel DLH was a victim of a very bad decision.

You forgot to add in the part about being able to earn 40million dollars or more. This is a dumb ass analogy and always is everytime someone brings it up. For 40million dollars, you better jump through whatever hoops they give you to take a damn test.
