man please. pacquiao is easy work for floyd. I guarantee that the mosley fight was harder for floyd than the pac fight would be. Pac is not even a real challenge. I honestly am one of the fans that only want them to fight so that the dickriding pac fans will leave this sport alone. I'd rather see Cotto and floyd fight anyday before pac and floyd.

    that's not really true.

floyd's resume is quality - but he has handpicked too.

it's naive to call floyd a 'hype job'.

he clearly is a master of his art but people are pissed becasue his mouth runs faster than his actions.

No, they are pissed at him because he makes a big deal about how great he is and then he fights guys like marquez.

His resume is good, but it is not ATG.

Of course some of his fanatics over hype the guy.....Just like PAC fans who say he's the greatest ever or Floyd fanatics who say he was better than Ray Robinson.

What is a very accurate indication that a fighter is truly great is just being mentioned or compared to those former ATG's. DLH did in fact lose all of his BIGGEST fights and that has hurt his legacy.....but the fact that he went up against ALL of the best fighters in his day, even when he was green, young and inexperienced he took on some of the best. It only validates he was one that would test and challenge himself regardless of the risk.

That was part of why DLH became as BIG as he did. Not winning his biggest fights will always be what hinders his overall legacy but the pure fact he actually has all those big names on his resume where he was ALWAYS extremely competitive has secured him a spot as an ATG.

Only a ***** can get mad at you when you say how good a fighter is without drinking his kool aid.

I can talk about how good floyd is and bring up any short comings and then I turn into a *******. I don't even mention pacquiao when discussing floyd because I pick floyd to beat him, but for some reason the notion that I think he should fight pac is me hating floyd and loving pacquiao.

you may be wrong on that. a prime mosley, you can argue, was more talented then dlh. a prime mosley could beat mayweather.

Could have been a "shell" of DLH. And if that was the case Manny executed his game plan to perfection against Oscar as he should....but Lasting 8 rounds being considered "shot" in there with Manny says A LOT about DLH.

Cotto, Josh and Ricky were not shot or drained and Cotto didn't do much better and neither did Josh. They lasted longer but were still thoroughly dominated.

DLH who faced Floyd was also a "shell" of his former self....maybe a tad better overall b/c the fight was at 154, but his performance with Floyd compared to his performance with PAC was "NIGHT & DAY".

    I don't know, I don't care..... Pacquiao is a different dude.

He took on marquez after it was a tough fight. He offered an immediate rematch that marquez turned down.

He fought morales three times, who I think is a better boxer than floyd.
He fought barrera, he took on oscar, even if oscar was past it and was an idiot when making weight(not pacs fault)

I understand why people like pacquiao. it makes sense.

What I don't get is this "floyd beats everyone in every hypothetical match ever" mentality.

This "he beat castillo both times" Then wtf was the rematch for?

    To embarrass castillo?

The guy made a PPV killing with oscar and then went off into LALA land where he is now the goat.

    It's a joke.
