Now if we can just get Floyd to believe that garbage maybe he'll man the **** up and do his job, instead of coming up with some very creative excuses NOT to lace the **** up.

It's cool you got all the confidence in the world regarding Floyd's abilities against Manny unfortunately that doesn't help Floyd's confidence any otherwise he would have jumped all over the chance at "exposing" Manny whom he claimed was all hype, not **** and definitely NOT on his Level.

Instead when the fight becomes damn near reality Floyd gets it in his head that in order to MAKE this fight and earned not only his biggest win but his biggest paycheck as a prize fighter, it would be "SMART" to spread rumors against this "EASY NIGHT'S WORK" and start accusation he can't support.

Oh....and this is even better.....With those BASELESS and unsubstantiated accusations he thought it would be even more "Intelligent" to demand unprecedented requests for Olympic style testing for his oppoent he supposedly wants to fight.:patsch

I just can't wrap my head around this logic and how a select few seems to acknowlege it.

Just like the Sturm and Sweet pea fight for ODH. ( you should lose some respect for ODH in that regard)

Just like the Marquez fight against Pac. (Same wit pac)

I agree about Cotto, Ricky and Clottey.

I have a major problem with people claiming or even comparing the '3 different delahoyas"
    1. Prime Delahoya
    2. Floyd's Delahoya
    3. Manny's Delahoya

If Manny fought Delahoya at 154 at the time Floyd did, his fight with him would have looked alot different than it did. That is all I will say regarding that. And if Floyd or Manny fought a prime WW Delahoya, like the one Shane fought, they MAY still have won....but I highly doubt it. :deal

I do. I always give sturm credit for his win.

And I give marquez credit for the pac fights.

If you don't even know what I have said on the subject, why call me out on it, idiot?

thread : "sturm fighting blah in september"

LukeO: I have always felt bad for sturm after being robbed vs DLH.

Floyd beating manny has moar to do with skills than size. Floyd isn't that much bigger than emmanuel; he's just a tad bit taller.

Pernelle didn't....:smoke And even so....it says something about DLH's "DEFENSE" when he's able to affect the ability of those sharp shooter to maintain their NORMAL and very accurate connect percentages. And don't get it twisted.....you'll never find me slapping myself! I'd slap the mustashe off your grill before you'd find me doing that to myself.

Whats even better is that this fight would have DEFINITELY happened if pacquiao agreed to testing THE FIRST ****ING TIME. Even 14 days out.

But now all of a sudden after a long training camp and another fight in the books where they see floyd get rocked. All of a sudden pac wants to take the test and act like he didn't pull a ***** move with the "im scared of needles **** before?" **** outta here. pac missed his opportunity. I'm sure he will get it again. But if you wanna turn down millions of dollars because you are scared of blood, then your ****** ass deserves to wait til next year. Them mu****as will, fight next year. I guarantee it.

I agree.....But the fact is Manny had to move up 2 classes just to make the fight with DLH where NO ONE gave him a chance. Except PACD... I was actually pissed off that DLH would take advantage of Manny and lost some respect for him.

But of course DLH hadn't fought at that weight for a LOOONG time....but at the end of the day I don't make excuses for why a fighter wins and definitly not when a fighter loses. It's part of the game. These are pros....you make a decision to lace up and you prepare accordingly. DLH made no excuses befoe the fight....and afterwards his trainer made no excuses for DLH as a fighter and what took place b/c that's how it should be. Manny was the better man that night and did what he had to do. Everyone knows it wasn't the very best DLH but they also know that when Floyd won a split decision a year before.
