This thread is stretching it. Oscar looked extremely thin in his training pics and in the ring that night. You can see the weight loss around the face as well. There is no way someone can say Oscar was not at a much lower weight that night. Oscar's big shoulder have always given the illusion that he was bigger than he really was, even at his first fights at 135. I think a large bone structure makes people think Oscar might be bigger but in reality they are not seeing the muscle loss.

oh come on, this is some ridiculous **** right here... he weighed what they said he weighed. He used the same scales as Manny. He hydrated intravenously in the locker room and yes, trying to make 147 was a huge mistake for him.

imho ODLH was shot, and while it would have been a little more competitive had he not had the weight problems the result would have been the same in the end. He just can't pull the trigger anymore and he can't see the shots coming.

Trying to make up some big conspiracy that ODLH didn't weight what the scales said is intellectually on a par with trying to say Margo cheated for the very first time against Shane, and really, what the hell are you trying to prove?

so when did the fight night weigh flashed by HBO becomes as credible as the actual weigh-in? are there even officials in there? do they took off all the clothes like the day before weigh-in?

fight-night weigh should only be made as a side-reference and not the gospel truth. HBO could easily have taken or added a few pounds here and there and no one from each camp would protest its accuracy.

Now that you mention it, fighters do wear some clothing that they dont normally wear at the official weighin.....

.....so its very possible, and likely probable that if DLH was wearing clothes for that HBO unofficial weighin, that DLH actually may have lost weight in the 30 hrs to fight time.

DLH weighed 145 lbs wearing underwear, if he weighed 147 lbs for the unofficial HBO weighin, those 2 lbs are what his clothes may have weighed......if that was the case, DLH was a dead man walking.
