    All week he was trumpeting it as a Meldrick Taylor vs Julio Cesar Chavez type fight, definitely had an air of it.

    I didnt know he said that... of course some of that is in the context of promoting the event, but still it did play out that way quite a bit

    I want them to rematch. Maidana can stay as Chavez. Khan needs to go from Taylor to WHitaker.

    true... but khan will have to learn some new skills that he can apply not only in the gym or sparring but in a real fight when big pressure is on.... very dissapointed with his defense and boxing skills... but can appreciate his heart and will when he was very badly hurt...i think the sheer will to prove the haters out there wrong kept him up. also he was clever in the way he sort of kept his head even though he was almost out on his feet...holding maidana....checking for time left in the round...showed he was in his senses
