You missed my point completely. There was no rehydration clause. What is clear is that Oscar's official weight was bogus. Pac is on the record stating that he was expecting to register ~146' at the weigh-in. He weighed 145.5' before and after the weigh-in using two different scales. This means Oscar weighed ~148.5' and would've had to pay a $6M penalty. Not wanting to pay that huge sum, DLH opted not to reydrate and continued to boil off in order to come in very light for the unofficial HBO weight. Why would Oscar strip down for the unofficial weight if he wasn't explicitly trying to register as low a weight as possible? He was clearly trying to throw off suspicion for tampering with the scales at the weigh-in. Food and fluids after a normal weigh-in plus any clothing/shoes would've added far more than 2lbs, no matter what DLH's condition may have been. The IV's were used for emergency hydration after the unofficial weight was taken.

LOL, this issue didn't make sense before the Oscar and Pac fight actually happened

I'd bet you'd be laughing at someone opening up this talk before and you'd just say 'Pac is no Forbes, he's a midget with no defense. Oscar will kill him in the ring' :dead

Because he got to the weight early?

He looked in great shape before he fought Floyd, before he went into camp. But he still rehydrated 10 pounds.

Are you saying that you weren't surprised to hear that he only gained 2 pounds?

Are you telling me that he didn't look gaunt, and he looked healthy?

Your post doesn't make sense to me mate.

Why is it clear that his weight was bogus?

Manny says he expected to weigh 146, yet weighed 145.5?

That's a half pound difference. How was Oscar's weight 148.5?

Oscar would have got weighed regularly before the weigh in on different scales. His weight was 145.

You're telling me the scales were tampered with?
