Oscar willing to make Canelo vs Spence

If Oscar thought Canelo would win, shouldn't he be looking up, not down?

 

Give Spence a couple of more fights as added experience and time to further improve his craft and I love it at 154. For all of the twisted knickers itt, it may not be easy for Canelo to move back down at this point and going forward. The weight advantage could end up belonging to the fresher Spence (this would be the first time we think of Canelo as the grizzled vet, hehe) who the consensus seem to think will end up at 154 in the next couple of years anyway.

This.. Unfortunately they are already looking to move carefully around the MW division as it heats up.. What I mean is win or lose Canelo is gonna fight Spike/Lemeiux next and then from there not fight legit MWs due to matchup problems.. Especially the guys that are 6 ft (Jacobs, Andrade, Charlo)..

 

Possibly only I think Spence v Garcia is a way more competitive fight.

 

No I don’t think they do either though they are used for training harder,power and more importantly punch resistance.

 

Back to catch weight thing then eh?thing is I can’t see him ever making under 160 again or rather I should say I can’t see the Canelo of that first GGG fight ever making it under 160.

 

I hope he stays as there are numerous of interesting matchups at 160 between all the top 7 guys but I wouldn’t bank on it as Oscar has said they’re looking at moving up or looking to fight 147 fighters..

He could fight say charlo or Jacobs or he’ll even mungia over $pence after triple GGG
Considerable less money. But in the current weight class & belt holders or top contender in the case of Jacobs & charlo
So nelo will target the fighter with the bigger following. Who happens to be 2 weight classes below him.

 

Exactly 160 heats up and suddenly Canelo wants to be anywhere else.
