Oscar was a better fighter than Ortiz and I'm sure in Oscar's 27th fight he would've beaten someone like Maidana. Ortiz still put up a good fight and with a few good wins he could be a world champion.
I wouldn't bother explaining anything to this jackoff. There are people who post here who are soooo ****ing stupid I can't believe they figured out how to turn on a computer in the first place.
Are you ******ed? As the other guy mention Oscar fought Jeff Mayweather in his 5th pro fight while Mayweather record was 23 wins, 2 losses. De la hoya fought his first world title in his 13 PRO FIGHT! And at lightweight He beat Molina, Ruelas, Hernandez, Leija. <<<Those fighters he beat are 100 times way better wins then anyfighters that Ortiz beat. Please think before you type ok? Cool.
GBP did a great job in match making and as of late has been out doing TopRank in their match making. Back at the subject at hand ... that is ridiculous, Oscar has been in the ring with Top level opposition all his career and has seen stiff tests like that thoughout his career w/ TopRank. TopRank doesn't do much babysitting ... they will throw you in there with a stiff test - an opposing style to see where you're at.
Pavlik vs Miranda DLH vs Trinidad Mayweather vs Castillo Cotto vs Torres Lopez vs Ponce De Leon these guys do the damn thing when it comes to step ups in class ... Oscar has seen his share of power punchers ...
