But I feel that Oscar's height is gonna **** him up this time. When he fought Mayorga, and Fernando, two guys in the 5'8-5'10 range he was able to land that ****ing hook, textbook perfect. Why? Because of their height to his. When he throws it straight across, he throws it at a plane that is level with their jawbone. Against Trinidad it didnt land, because Trinidad was his height, and he doesnt throw it high, that well. And it didnt land against the shorter PBF and Lil Forbes either. Manny is even shorter. That means, for it to land, Oscar will have to angle it low. But even at that, if Manny "fights low" and practices bobbing, Oscar, when he throws it, if he catches Manny, is not going to catch him on the jawline, where the KO happens, but on the top or side of his head.

Spent allota time with Manny, JP; he's exactly my height, 5-7 'n' a half, but I don't think it negates your theory. Although, "fighting low" runs against his grain. Tough to break the habit of being stand-up and squaring-up to punch when you've had the success he has.

You're probably at least an inch shorter than you think you are; most guys are. Manny is 5'6 tops imo.

Someone has noticed. I have repeatedly said since the news of this fight being made that DLH will KnockOut Pacquaio and that this entire fight is nothing but a moneymaking farce that will not be competitive in the slightest

I have to agree with that. I am barely 5'7 if that and Manny was definitely at least an inch shorter than me when I stood next to him. Plus he was wearing some thick heavy g'd up lugs which I thought was kinda funny. Even 5'8 Morales looked a great deal taller in their fights.

Well, Wlad and Lennox Lewis often had 6" on their guy and landed the hook.

Oscar just aims a little lower. No big deal here.
