Oscar's 4-5 inches of height advantage will be a disadvantage with the Left Hook.

DLH had no problems hitting Gatti (who is 5'7") with that left hook.

Pacquiao is listed as being 5'6" now whether that is true or not, I don't see where 1 inch is going to make a significant difference.

The reason why Forbes and Mayweather didn't eat that left hook is because both fought a very defensive fight. It's hard to hit a guy with a left hook when he won't take a forward step. Even harder when he's rolling with the left hook when you step forward.

Of course, Mayorga and to a lesser degree Vargas both do best when stepping forward. No surprise why they got nailed with left hooks.

Well, I'll either be right, or dead assed wrong. If Oscar, when they show the slow motion replay, is BARELY missing the left hook, and it's landing high, you guys will know I was right. If Oscar does what he did to Paez, I was dead assed wrong.

Oscar looked much smaller than Sturm when they fought.

i hope ur right...damn ur angry? PBF and forbes have what u call defense that is why it didn't land...pacman will be coming right at oscar...height has no bearing on landing a left hook as on to the top of the head or temple would do enough damage to stop a guy that started his career at 106....i hope PACMAN WINS though and i hope u r right

Pac's "glass" jaw will survive the distance IMO.

i can see that left hook flying over pacs head all night long at times, if pac keep them knees bent with a little bounce, i think he can duck and counter odh's left hook.but i can see him also getting caught in an exchange with odh can getting badly stunned and ulitmatley going to bed !

Son, I've forgot more than you'll ever know. If u think DLH is 5 11 you must be one of his fangirls. manny's height would be up for debate, if it actually mattered.

:rofl :rofl :rofl I know that Trinidad is, and he was eye to eye with his Eastlos son in that fight. Check out HBO's "Tale of the Tape" (Official) and then come back here so I can stuff some crow down your piehole. Then again, you are used to big things in your mouth. :good
