Just the fact that he is considering fighting Pac has convinced me never to ****ing root for him again.

Fact 1: He says 154lbs is his best weight
Fact 2: Staying on the above, he forces Floyd to MOVE UP to face him
Fact 3: He then claims he wants to move to 147lbs.....the most stacked division in boxing
Fact 4: He ignores all fighters at 147lbs and begins talks about fighting Hatton....a 140lber
Fact 5: He then goes further south in the wght divisions and now is talking about fighting a super feather in Pac
Fact 6: Oscar De La Hoya is quickly becoming a ****ing joke :good

I have not seen any oficial statements by any of the fighter, so I don't want to beleive this is true. However, if it is true, this is going to be the most outrageous fight on DLH's resume (fightitng a guy that started his pro-carrer at 105 Lbs). If this is all about the money, DLH should move up to HW and fight Klitschko.

Pac has been entering the ring at 147 pounds or more... and that is when he is cutting weight in a major way. So... what's the problem? They will both be near the same weight.

Is there a problem with two men meeting at the same weight, and boxing?

Oscar started his career at 130, while Hopkins started his career at 175, and is back there now... yet nobody was crying about Hopkins fighting him.

Oscar started his career 24 pounds above where Pacman started.

Hopkins started his career 45 pounds above where Oscar started his.

Oscar vs Pacman is no more outrageous than Oscar vs Hopkins.

What??? When did he enter the ring with such weight? If I recall correctly the max he ever weighted was 142.

I personally did not like the idea of the fight. Also, BH is notorious for fighting midgets comparing to him.

    See my above post.

Why isn't Oscar fighting Wright at 154lbs? He has said that 154lbs is his best weight at this stage. And if he really wants to go to 147lbs, fine. But why isn't he calling out anyone at 147lbs? He has called out a jr welter and a super feather. :patsch

Wlad is going to knock the **** out of him......literally. Remember Holyfield lost to Toney after he was already shot like 8 yrs ago, and fat ass Briggs beat noone worth talking about in his entire career.

Wait a minute. Briggs is big as **** but he is not fat. He looks like a WWE Wrestler or bodybuilder.

The last 5 fights Oscar has been fighting at 154. Pac has been fighting at 130. 24 lbs difference -- super-featherweight vs. a light-middleweight.
5' 11" vs. 5' 6 1/2". 67" reach vs. 75" reach. Both being approx. same weight when they meet in the ring?? C'mon Window, that's stretching way to far. I don't know where you get Pac at 147. Thst means Pac puts on 17 lbs. from the weigh-in to fight night. And I suppose Oscar stays at 154 from the weigh-in to fight night. You say they will be at the same weight. You will do anything to justify every move Oscar makes. I'm sure you will be the last nuthugger standing. If they do sanction this fight Oscar is going to be a huge part in giving boxing another bad mark.
