Shane had to make a name for himself. Winky already had a name after beating Shane in the 1st fight. He already beat the man that beat Oscar so he wasn't about to take 6 million. Plus I don't know how many times I have to tell ya'll this but Oscar can make 25 million fighting Yori Boy Campas! It doesn't matter who he is fighting!

DLH has absolutely NO BUSINESS fighting PAC:nono

If DLH cant make a competitive fight vs a legit 147 or 54 fighter then it's time to call it a day.

There's plenty of good fights at 47 and I cant see why DLH vs Margarito on Cinco De Mayo wouldnt be much better and do a hell of a lot better numbers given the heritage and timing.

Oscar should fight Winky if not retire. That's the best fight for his legacy at this point in his career.

Yup. that is the only fight I want to see him in right now. Any other would be a complete avoidance and duckance of Winky.

Yep and it should be an easy fight to make especially since Winky and GBP have a partnership going on.

Hopkins was desperate and Winky wasn't. Oscar only fought Hopkins because NOBODY expected him to win that fight anyway.

its interesting that some people seem to think this is potentially competitive and would not be a ***** move on Oscars part, what they don't take into account is that Manny started fighting at something like... 112? its a whole different story from someone who started at 125 or 130 going up to 147...

I think Pac started at 106, he won his first world title @ 112.

Pacquiao was big as a flyweight and had hell making the weight. Likewise, Oscar was very big at 130 (where he fought just twice) and 135.

They've both moved up through the weight classes and the size difference remains huge.

Pacquiao re-hydrated in his last fight to 144 on the night of the fight, 3 pounds below where Oscar hasn't weighed in officially the day before since 2001. Back in 1998, Oscar re-hydrated to 161 against Chavez in their rematch, and around 155 or so in his 2000 fights with Coley and Mosley.

In the seven years since then, Oscar has most likely gotten even bigger, and would own a significant weight advantage in addition to the dimensions (height, reach, etc..) he already owns on Manny.

Ultimately I think people are getting mad over nothing because I doubt the fight will take place. It's just talk.

This fight will never happen it's a ridiculous matchup for obvious reasons already stated.

Winky Wright had his chance, and Winky turned down the biggest payday of his life. What is a Winky fight worth anyways? People love watching Pacman, and hey love watching Oscar. Pacman easily weighs up around that weight naturally, and so does Oscar when he isn't packing on extra chub. So, they can fight... why not?
