It may sting, but its 100% truth. Oscar has always been Floyd's daddy.

But when GGG fights, he puts his chin down and takes shots to give shots, that is risk right there.

Can I ask Oscar for a refund of all the supposedly terrible fights he promoted with Mayweather in it then? Or do they not count?

The best 154 Floyd IMO was against Cotto. I know a lot of people say he took too many punches in that fight yada yada yada, but he looked psychically good. 151.5 on the scales and an easy 160+ the night of the fight. And he stood his ground and banged with Cotto. Great showmanship!

Regardless of what you think of Oscar, he made some good points.

I dont particularly have a problem with Floyd's style. I liked watching him fight and, as long as a fighter doesn't break any rules, it is up to the opponent to overcome the fighters style.

My problem, as Oscar mentioned, was Floyd's unwillingness to take on certain fighters at certain times. Floyd has a great resume, but, it could have been better.

People may say that other fighters avoid certain fighters and this true. However, you expect the best to hold themselves to a higher standard and set an example. We all know the bad aspects of boxing. Things usually change for the better when the elite go agasint the grain. It encourages others beneath them to do so.

Unfortunately, for me, Floyd cared more about getting every last dime out of boxing rather than leaving the sport in a better state than when he started. This won't be and shouldn't be the overriding theme of Floyd's legacy, but, it should and probably will be a part of it.

Yeah Oscar promoted all these boring fights. Oscar is bitter because his promotional company was shut out of the Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight on top of being ****d by Haymon of all his fighters! lol

He barely beat an over the hill Oscar. That win's nothing to brag about. Honesty in their primes H2H I'd pick Oscar to beat Floyd.
    Might even pick SSM.

As to who ranks higher on the P4P list, I'd probably give the nod to Floyd but not by a huge amount. In terms of competion fought, I'd certain give the edge to Oscar, sort of like I rate Lewis ahead of Holyfield but Holyfield definitely fought better comp, just didn't always win.

Funny to see ODLH perpetuate the Paul Williams & Margarito myth too (why didn't Oscar fight them?)

There's really no point in the timelines of the fighters that the fights would have been better fights than those taken. Hindsight is misleading when it comes to boxing - almost always.

Hindsight makes you look and say "Margarito/Williams would have been a better fight than Baldomir" - but it doesn't tell you that Baldomir was the lineal Welterweight champion when he fought him.

Margarito lost his chance to fight Mayweather when Mosley beat him to a pulp.

Paul Williams, shortly after losing to Quintana, moved up to SMW by the time Mayweather came back to fight JMM in 2009.

Wow. That might be the saltiest letter I've ever read. You can almost hear Oscar's tears hitting the keyboard.

He must have got his ladies underwear bunched right up whilst writing that.

He beat #38 going away it wasn't close that sd was bull**** and you know it. And why would you pick a guy who lost more of his big fights than he won against a clearly superior boxer who always found a way to win? It makes no sense.
