he got into detail right now on telefutura... says he wants the winner of tomorrows fight...cotto, and then a free fight in december NON PPV... HE ALSO SAID FLOYD DOESN'T HIT HARD....HE SAID AT TIMES HE WOULD LEAVE HIS FACE WIDE OPEN IN HOPES OF MAYWEATHER BREAKING HIS HAND
i seen mayweather buckle him... but as far as fighting cotto, hatton/mayweather winner, and a free fight... oscar de la homo... ok ok... hoya.... actually deserves a lot of credit. i mean what more can we ask for? though i do think hes starting to wear thin a bit as far as REAL fan craving goes.. im talking about REAL boxing fans. id rather see cotto fight the winner of this fight then to see cotto fight hoya.... oscar is starting to not really be a factor outside of drawing mainstream fans and big money...
I myself would like to see Oscar whip up on Hatton first in May then worry about the top dogs Floyd or Cotto perferablly Cotto as he should smash him.
Oscar whip up on Hatton first? :think It's not gonna happen . . . Hatton's getting his whipping tommorow and PBF has already whipped his ass. So most probably he can just worry and target Cotto.
The thread starter said the last one on free tv. This is a good way to market Pac to Mainstream US & the world Audience. Win or lose Pac will become bigger after the fight. Imagine 30 Million US TVs tuning in on DLH's last fight. Those 30M will be guaranteed of entertainment because of Pac. Pac next fight after that will be on PPV. How many would you think among those 30M will buy the next Pac PPV???
hes not going to fight pac because any real fan knows it would be a side show. pac would be lucky to beat the best at 135, what business would he have at 147, none.
The spectacle of Oscar de la Hoya surpassed Oscar de la Hoya the fighter long ago. Despite that, I will anticipate (and buy) all of his remaining fights. Once he hangs them up, it will be a long, long time (if ever) that boxing has a star of that magnitude.
i still think if oscars gona stay around he should take over light middleweight he can beat any one there easy.
Long shot. Boxers in that division hit harder than boxers in the lightweight and junior welterweight. Oskee will prefer to fight the smaller boxers.
