(Oscar's Twitter) Canelo vs. Mosley on May 5th

Mosley was looking good early till he got knocked down. The knockdown forced him on the defensive all the way to the end. Of course with that being said, his age has everything to do with it so I'm just judging based on THAT version of Mosley.

 

so he's fighting someone as young as his gf. for mosley's sake hope he gets brutally stopped so he knows the ride is over. some people need to learn the hard way and he's one of them, as much as i like him.

 

Don't want to see Mosley ever brutally stopped, especially not by Alvarez. If Pacquiao wasn't able to brutally finish him off then Alvarez sure as hell won't.

 

don't get me wrong. i love mosley. and even felt sorry for him in the pac fight. i liked pac too, and was the only one among my friends who hoped for a boring fight where no fighter got hurt. and even defended him when they showed clips of him wanting the fight stopped. i mean here is a old fighter who clearly doubts himself against a great fighter give the man a break. but if the pac fight can't convince him i think he needs to learn the hard way that his ring days are a thing of the past.

 

I love Mosley too, he's the reason I'm a boxing fan, along with Mike Tyson. I don't think that he needs to learn the hard way that he should retire to be honest, the man is coming off a divorce and needs to make some money. I never expected Mosley, of all fighters, to be in this position so late in his career but sadly it happened. I would be glad to see him make enough money before he's officially out but wouldn't like to see him brutally hurt in the process. The sad part is he's in a bad situation in his life and needs to make money and boxing is his life.

 

this new young girl he's with doesn't look like she's the type that will be around with him when the dust clears either. looks like she's just taking him along for a ride. i don't know his finances but i don't think he's that broke. he doesn't come across as the type that spends money like it's going out of style.

 

I like Rodriguez but I think Mosely will exploit his weaknesses as he did to Margaret ...Mosely is one cagy fighter!!!

 

like an aging fighter, i think he'll see the openings adn mistakes but won't be able to pull the trigger.

 

GBP isn't doing the best w/ their matchmaking of up and comers, so I wouldn't put it past them to fight this fall. I hope it doesn't, since I think Canelo does have a bright future (if he can stay 1t 154 for a while).

mosley won 1 round...... nice prediction . it sucked and was a mismatch as i said the day it was announced. that is all :happy
