Keep in mind that Mundine is not the most reliable source. He's been supposedly wanting big fights and making lucrative offers for ages whilst scurrying down the scales whenever he's in a position to fight someone the least bit threatening. Shane might in fact make a decent buck if he goes on the Jones/Toney "get beat up in someone's home country" tour but he absolutely will not be offered a million or more again in the US in the near future.

That's probably because he doesn't have enough. His **** ex wife cleaned his ass out and I wouldn't be surprised to see him fighting as long as someone will pay him to.

Horrible fight. Whoever came up with this idea should be shot down and dragged into the streets. 154 is Sugar Shot Mosley's worse weight and age ain't helping him either. Canelo by ko as he'll be willing to do that and not touch gloves every round like Pacquiao(hungry Pacq could've stopped him but hey he got the W regardless). Shane has enough to make Canelo look bad for a little but he'll be figured out and mauled down. Horrible, horrible fight but it's Shane's fault for signing same with him facing Pacq, another horrible fight BTW.

Canelo should be the one to finish Mosley off. This fight shouldn't be competitive at all.
    :-(

yep.. Mosley is still good enough to beat Canelo.. Unless he's paid well to take an L;.. That never happens in boxing though.. does it?

Can those who think that Mosley has a legitimate shot please explain to me how he's supposed to win this fight. Be sure to keep in mind this is 2012.

I totally agree. Also in the Mayweather fight Naseem was ready to throw in the towel. IMO Mayweather was the first to crack Mosleys psyche as he battered him all over the ring that night. Since that fight Mosley has looked like a shell of himself.

Now when you think about it, Canelo is not fast. Definitely not elusive, And I believe when Shane hits any 154 is going to get hurt despite his current condition.

How is Shane going to hit or even hurt Alvarez when he doesn't throw punches aside from the pitter-pat jab?

Mosley is still a strong guy and a big puncher. Plus Canelo isn't as good as Pac and Floyd obviously

That's awful. :-( Especially when Delvin is live on air not even 40 mins ago saying "I can't say anything but I have some big news".

Mosley's handspeed and ability to pull the trigger are both completely gone; this wasn't just obvious against Pacquiao and Floyd but against Mora as well. He's only still a big puncher in theory since he's so gunshy at this point. Alvarez's own power is overrated but he still punches hard enough to have Mosley once again being completely passive for the entire fight.

TBF Mayweather caught him at the right time but would've beaten him anyways at any time. Mayweather does take hearts people sleep on that. He made Gatti quit too and made DLH back off a bit. I also think people forget that Mosley is done and this is '12, not '07. I don't think he even hurt Mora.
