Better yet, can those of you who think that cinnamon buns will brutally KO Shane please explain their position? Mosley has still never been knocked out in 55 pro fights and Canelo couldn't even KO Matthew Hatton in 12 rounds.
I see you really root for the underdog! That is what makes boxing great, that unpredictable drama! How crazy would it be if Mayweather, Pacquiao, and Canelo lost. I think that they are all taking some tough competition. Even Canelo...Mosley could show up one last time.
I don't know if he KOs him but he wins going away regardless since Mosley is done. Knocking him out isn't really an accomplishment at this point.
yeah I suppose she robbed him good, but since the seperation he made a lot of lucrative fights and jinx or no jinxs, he still a multi millionere who just should stop now, than losing anymore neurons....
I think you are underestimating Canelo, like many did with Chavez Jr. They may be protected, but it doesn't mean that they are ****. Alvarez would KO Kirkland, no doubt.
Okay maybe not by a ko but maybe tko stoppage where Saul gives him a beating. His power is overrated I'm still stuck on the Baldo ko lol. Still a horrible fight imo.
Name me one guy Canelo has knocked out that could be seen as a greater accomplishment than knocking out a shot to **** Shane Mosley. :think
I think Alvarez matches up favorably with most of the guys in his division, but it's hard to give him much credit at all when Golden Boy continues to match him up soft. The same still applies to Chavez, who hasn't taken a significant step up in competition yet either.
Remember when he became the first guy in years and years to knock out a (shot) Baldomir? Just as that shouldn't mean much neither would being the first person to stop Mosley. This fight is past Mosley's best weight class, he hasn't won a relevant fight since 2008, he's looked like **** in all of his fights since then, and in two of his last three he or his corner wanted the fight stopped. Forgive me if I think a stoppage is neither completely implausible at this point nor would it be very significant.
You basically give yourself away as a hater with your user name but let me answer you anyways. M. Hatton is a very awkward fighter and as soon as he felt Canelos power his mission was to avoid engaging and always turned away from Canelo basically giving him the back of his head as the only target. It is hard to hit M. Hatton cleaned. Mosley is incredibly easy to hit, is 40, loves to trade and is fighting a guy who can hurt you with one flush shot. Mosley will be stopped here.
