OSDT: Andre Ward Endorses Olympic-Style Drug Testing for Boxing

As long as it's applied to ALL boxers and not just singled out boxers

 

We have been reiterating that in this forum for the longest time. But many seems oblivious to facts.

 

imagine WADA or USADA monitoring and testing thousands of pro boxers all year round... how much it cost for each tests, multiply it and we have ourselves a billionaire in no time.

andre just happens to work with conte who just happened to go into detail on how OSDT is easy to pass

 

Dude the NSAC is just one commission that represents the state of Nevada. What about TX, CALI, NY, MI, OK, and all the other damn states. Boxing needs a world body is they want to do OSDT. One commission and that **** is never going to happen. :-verysad

yup. nice to see guys speaking up in favor of it. these governing bodies have to take the lead rather than leaving it to individual fighters to suspect and demand it. not giving users a pass, but with so much competition and money at stake there's always gonna be huge pressure to use especially where there's also a minor risk of getting caught. if OSDT is as good as advertised and is random and evolves as far as what they test for, then it should dramatically increase the risk of getting caught and ultimately make the sport safer for the users and the non-users

forgot about ward's connection with conte. as conte said, it's gotta be truly random to be effective. so I imagine osdt won't be all that effective unless no advance warning at all
