The data they presented for the bout both covers the blood and urine testing and both procedures miraculously stopped being collected 3 weeks before the fight.

If I remember right, Mosley was tested 6 times (2 blood) while Mayweather was tested 5 times.

IT is not the fear of being caught that was the issue with me. With the kind of media exposure that the fight was receiving especially regarding PEDS, both fighters would be stupid to even attempt.

It is the principle of the whole thing. When both the USADA, Mayweather, GBP were singing praises about how they are going to clean boxing, why leave a doubt by not actually testing up to the day of the fight. It is supposed to be a moral victory that turn out to be empty.

Manny should have just agreed and we we even be discussing ths.

Mayweather did not even raise a whimper, so I presume that 18 days before the fight was no object.

Yeah I agree. I'd assume though that if USADA were to conduct the testing for the Mayweather v Pacquiao bout, and 3 other random bouts...the testing would most likely be different for all 4 bouts, all ending with different cut-off dates, but still random.

I wouldn't be too surprised in seeing the Mayweather v Pacquiao bout having testing up until the day of the bout...with no influence from anyone of course.

in terms of random testing, you ****ing twat, it means, the fighters do not know when they will be tested

    nothing more, nothing less

    it really isn't that difficult

in fact, they could have tested both fighters 60 days out, then never again...and guess what, that is random testing, since both fighters were under the guise that they could be tested the entire camp

i worked a job that had random testing for two years and i personally was never tested, while my co-worker was tested twice...iday-to-day i knew i could be tested

but keep going on with your dumb ass allegations if you want...you just make yourself out to be even more or a ****** than you already came off as

****! Read first about sampling before you even discuss anything about random.

So USADA does their testing on whim now? The guy who does the test just decides on a day to day basis?

Random to the one being tested is that - random, he does not know when he is being tested.

But to the one doing the test, they use these tools to determine when to test, who to test, etc. They just have to be sure that the sampling is unbiased.

Basically, the dates to do the tests are already mapped out based on tools that you won't even understand. Do you think it is a flip coin everyday or "I'm feeling okay today so why don't we visit Mayweather now. And if tomorrow it does not rain, we do Mosley."

I presume that you think that your co-worker was being picked on.:lol:He must be lloking like a drug addict or something or just plainly goofing around? So he was randomly tested.:lol:

    Dumbass.

Why don't you just stick to what you know best - singing praises to Mayweather.

I am having a meaningful discussion with AnthonyW, although we support different fighters. Just go find Karceno, or Whoupicking, or Spud. You are not worth my effort. Seriously.

you are one dumb mother ****er

the entire purpose for random testing is not to catch drug cheats, it is to deter them...that being said, as long as the fighters do not know when they will be tested, and know that they can be tested at any time, it is a deterrent

whatever means USADA, WADA or any other agency use to decide which days to test on is merely a b/s spin by you

again, the purpose od random drug testing is to deter cheats, not some kind of FBI sting

if some dumbass gets caught using in the process, that's on them, since they were fully aware there was a chance they would be tested at any time (random to their knowledge)

no go suck pac's balls and j/o to floyd photoshops u piece of trash

I do actually support both Mayweather and Pacquiao, but it's quite hard in trying to be unbiased on here whilst trying to pick and choose which boxer to defend or criticize at the right time. If you defend one boxer, you are accused of being a '*****' or a '*******'...and the same when you criticize said boxer.

    Dumbass trying to be smart:lol::lol::lol:

There is actually a method to drug tsting.

Have you ever wondered how they come about the scheduling of the testing? Or who they are going to test that day? Or if they are going to do a urine tests or a blood tests? Of course, you dont. You are an idiot.

Random to you applies to the one being tested.:lol: A pparently, you think that anytime of the day, month, year, unannounced comprised random testing:lol::lol:

Rnadom applies to the method of testing, and the sampling method is not whimsical but rather based on mathematical formulas.

Example : In the olympic village during the olympics, obviously they are not going to test everybody for PEDS. S o who exactly are they going to tests? That is where sampling methods come in. They are designed to ensure that bias does not exist, meaning that the probability of an individual getting a testing is equal to everybody. Samplinbg methods applied to 2 samples or 100,00 samples.

Why do I have to explain it to you when you are obviously out of your league, and obviously the only sampling method that you know is simple random one like a coin flip. Today, if it is head, we will test Mayweather, if tail, we will do Mosley kind of stuff.:lol:

Purpose and methods are two different things. Purpose is deterrent but the methodology is entirely different and you equating them as the same really makes me sick - I am responding to an idiot.

Anybody who has Mathematics background, kindly educate this idiot!!!! I don't have the patience.

There can never be a true fence sitter. Regardless how people will say that they favor both equally. To a certain degree, you will favor one over the other.

You previous posts (on several threads) show that but you are sensible poster.

Definitely. If I were to list my favourite active boxers...the list would go - 1. Mayweather. 2. Pacquiao.

Both boxers have pro's and con's...the con's are mostly out of the ring for both boxers.

the point is, the methods are basically there for scientists to write papers and publish articles

as far as the athlete is concerned, it's all about the deterrent

what you are trying to do is deflect from that, and get into a scientific debate...but as far as the testing your are bitching about is concerned, it was there as a deterrent, whether they stopped 18 days out or 2 days out

    stop the spin

When Mayweather fought Shane Mosley on May 1, both fighters agreed to Olympic-style random drug testing, which included taking blood and urine samples. USADA oversaw the protocols for the drug testing, and the last blood tests administered to the fighters came 18 days before they entered the ring.

However, Tygart said the threat of testing the fighters remained in place during that period, which served as a

    had either considered cheating.
Both fighters were tested eight times, and each tested clean on every occasion.

You are looking it on the myopic point of view - the fighter's point of view. Because to the fighter, the randomness means being surprised by anyone showing up on your door which pretty much what gives it its deterrent - the fear of being caught.

    This content is protected
, randoim is not exactly a toss coin scenario. There is a method to how it is to be tested, when it is to be tested, who should receive the testing and it not exactly very random. Otherwise you would end up doing test on consecutive days and not having done any testing for several weeks. They use sampling methods which from a fighter's point of view and yours is foreign. The important thing is that the sampling method is unbiased - meaning that Floyd should not be receiving more tests than Mosley.

The schedules of drug testing, which is known already to the testers, however is "blinded" to the fighters. That is what you and the "common masa" associate as random - the "surprise!, I am here to test you!"

Now, there are different RANDOM sampling methods that SCIENTIST or DRUG TESTERS apply. It is never a whimsical "let's surprise this guy today" because that is not methodical and wasteful to resources.

****, why do I even have to explain it to you. You obviously are a simpleton trying to look smart. Just go and read wiki on "random sampling" because drug testing sampling are based on these models.

BTW, the "random" in the ODST is actually because it is based on "random" sampling methods.

There are two sides to the ODST - the athletes being tested and the tester.

Manny wasn't drug tested his last fight. He won't be tested this fight. Texas doesn't require it. Coincidence?

No need, it is already "Fixed" and then they required Margarito to dehydrate to 151 and he has a "rehydraton clause" as well.

Pac won't be needing PEDS, afterall, it is in the bag.

Why tests? It would just be a facade, like "I will clean the sport of boxing.":lol::lol:
