Did they say Khateaev has a 290-10 amateur record or something like that?

Shamil is the younger brother of light heavyweight prospect Imam Khataev - by whom Shamil was, pretty hysterically, KTFO inside 1 round in his final amateur bout.

No friends and family discount, I guess - when that bell rings it's war. :ggg

That is what EOTTM claims. BoxRec has 26 victories in 36 bouts verified. I'm looking to see if there's any record of him on sportenote or any of the other usual international ammy trackers.

Hiseni doing a nice job boxing tall now. He was falling in and brawling more in the first. Moving & flurrying, then clinching is a good recipe for the Züricher.

Matt Casavant, the unofficial television scorer for Punching Grace, also has it 19 apiece but gave Hiseni the first and Khataev the second.

    Both rounds have been close.

Yeah, it's been a close, competitive fight so far. Quite unlike the first two!

Shamil is definitely a far cry from his brother, in both aggressive disposition and talent.

Ramadan has things well in hand when he keeps the jab rolling from distance. On the inside, he just gets wailed with body shots until he can clinch.

Khataev seems to be opening up a bit more and taking control

He was - until he got buzzed! :sisi1

Hiseni did the right thing afterward for about 15-20 seconds, digging hard left hooks on the body and not giving Khataev any quarter - but then he backed off and let him recover. Inexplicable. Maybe he's just such a feather-fist he's unused to having a guy hurt and doesn't know what to do.
