I believe just three bouts on the main portion of the card televised on Fox at 8pm EST:

    1. Omar "Relámpago" Juárez vs. All De Guia "The Machine Gun" Rivera, 10 rounds @ super lightweight
    2. Efetobor Wesley "Nigerian Pit Bull" Apochi vs. Brandon Benard "Bulletproof" Glanton, 10 rounds@ cruiserweight
    3. Osvary David "Street Fighter" Morrell Gutiérrez, Jr. vs. Mario Abel "Bull Fighter" Cázares Astorga
The rest, including my pal VeShawn Owens' bout and the compelling Leon Lawson III vs. Nathaniel Gallimore contest, whatever hasn't yet transpired already, will have to be scrounged up on social media feeds if anything. Happy hunting.

Pretty sure VSO already fought a little over half an hour ago. Pretty sure as well that his wife recorded him getting KTFO and uploaded it to his Story on Facebook.

(too far away to make out his identifying pec tats, but the haircut and complexion seem to match him...as well as boxing southpaw, as VeShawn is known to switch-hit and every non-televised prelim match per BoxRec is orthodox versus orthodox)

She better come with that gawkgawk9000 to make up for that. :sisi1

LL3 up two zip, controlling Gallimore with long jabs between his eyes and then hooking neatly off the jabs, thudding into the side of the brain pan or high on the platinum blonde dyed coiffure. Gallimore just winging bombs from outside, no clear strategy to get in, throwing a bunch at the wall hoping something will stick.

Marcos Villegas has it 30-27 for Lawson but says the last two have been 'swing rounds', crediting Gallimore for coming forward behind a high guard landing body shots. Eh, as someone who likes Nate, can't say he's landing that many and he's eating far more...and coming forward doesn't a ring general make when you're tethered like a paddleball on the end of somebody's jab.

That's what kind of battered spouse syndrome I have from PBC and Fox in particular - I'm so used to expecting to get gypped on deep prelims that I didn't even think to check FS1. :shakehead:

Gallimore rallied well in the fourth, outlanded Lawson by 3:1 per the onscreen graphic stats, which check out per my optic synapses. :deal:

    10-9 NGG

    39-37 LL3

I taped Lawson earlier this week because i thought Gallimore MIGHT be a live dog here but after tape it was an easy pass. Lawsons height and jab are winning him rounds against low volume guys like Gallimore. Gallimore is too lazy at times. Can throw a lot but can be so low volume and tentative. Also didn't look great recently.

Lawson is 6'5" with a fit, athletic build and he's technically sound.

That said, I don't think he's ever going to be an exciting, nor a great fighter. Same reason on both counts: he doesn't have that "dog" in him. In the first three rounds he was content to hang back and outbox Gallimore...safely. Then in the 4th & 5th with the heat turned up he spoiled and defended...safely.

He's a safety minded guy. Not a champ in the offing.

10-9 G, on his toes, creating openings where there are none, taking chances and leading with power shots...missing some, not getting discouraged, truckin' on..

    48-47 L

I have Gallimore up by a round having won the last three. The third round is a very close one so could go the other way.

A minute in, Gallimore was on pace to pull level on my card through six ..but his gas tank sputtered and Lawson began drilling him in the corner with straight two-pieces and turning him into a bobblehead.

    58-56 Lawson

Lawson def lacks a killer instinct. If Gallimore can keep it a dogfight in the second half he probably wins. Saying that....NG is a very inconsistent guy...so who knows.
