I think the more motivated Ward is, the more dangerous and effective he is. Like he was against Kessler, Froch and now Dawson. Against Bika or Green, whom he didn't respect, he wasn't dangerous...

I don't buy that broken had stuff. He did postponed the fight for that cut he could have done it for the hand to. No sain man would've gone into the fight of his life with a broken hand let's not be naive here.
It isn't about motivation. This guy is hard to beat also because his fighting stance and style those things have a downside in not having the Ko punch. He just doesn't have it. Period. He has good punches but no had one that can finish a guy. So against good oppositions like Bika, Pavlik, I ain't talking stellar stuff he just can't finish them with the exception of Dawson who let's be honest hasn't fought at this weight in... how many years ? We can imagine his punch resistance who was also not the greatest was highly decreased at a lower weight. FFS this guys doesn't has a any idea when to finish a guy's off he needs his trainer to tell him when to push for the TKO.(Against Dawson that what he said) Look at him having to finish a fight against Green who wasn't doing anything.
